This appears to be an M1911, however, you'll see slight variations, such as the hammer, slightly different placement of the ejector slot, and the iron sights.

The up and coming moving Winter in Wartime features several firearms from WWII.


Near the end of World War II, 14-year-old Michiel becomes involved with the Resistance after coming to the aid of a wounded British soldier. With the conflict coming to an end, Michiel comes of age and learns of the stark difference between adventure fantasy and the ugly realities of war. [1]

FN Hi-Power

The first version of the classic pistol, developed by John Browning and adopted by Belgium in 1935, the FN P-35 - 9x19mm. During World War II, the Germans would occupy the Belgian firearms factories and continued to produce this gun, still called the P-35, but with Waffenamt stamps. The Design would be adopted by other countries and manufactured abroad with the generic designation simply as the "Browning High Power".
