Soldat Blanc (English translation : White Soldier) is a 2019 French DTV war movie directed by Eric Zonca. Taking place during the Indochina war. The story about the friendship of 2 French soldiers. Robert Tual a WW2 veteran and André Cariou a young enlisted. Both they will be the witnesses of a growning conflict and they will choose very different ways.

Pistols

Lüger

« Black Commando » members, use Luger P08 as secondary weapons, including Tual and Cariou.

Tokarev TT-33

The Tokarev TT-33 is used by Vietminh officers. During the ambush of a small French unit, Cariou executes an officer with the pistol.

Cariou takes the pistol from the political officer.
Cariou shot the French Lieutenant, to prove that he is now a real communist. Despite he killed few French soldiers just before.

M1 Carbine

French troops and commandos use M1 carbines against Vietminh.

Korean War Era M1 Carbine, with Birch Stock, Adjustable sight, bayonet lug, and twin magazine pouch - .30 Carbine. Most of the World War II variations of the M1 Carbine were sent back to the Military Arsenals and retrofitted with the Bayonet Lug and adjustable rear sight. This is the version seen after late 1945 and all the way until the 1960s. This version is seen most often in World War II movies, despite being anachronistic for most World War II battles

At the end of the WW2, Japanese troops occupying Indochina surrender to the French army. They drop their weapons, but none look accurate for Japanese army.
