What If...? is the 2021 animated American streaming series based on the Marvel Comics series of the same name. The series asks the question of what would happen if one event in the MCU was changed. What If...? features the voice of Jeffrey Wright as Uatu (aka The Watcher), and many MCU actors voice their characters in the series. It is the fourth television series of Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The series is set after the events of Loki and is a precursor to future MCU feature films Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness which, together with WandaVision and Loki is included in the Multiverse story arc.

The series is being produced by Marvel Studios and was released on the service Disney+ on August 11, 2021 and streamed 9 episodes until October 6, 2021. The second season was announced in December 2019 and will be realized in 2023. The third season was announced on San Diego Comic-Con 2022.
