Vietnam War Story

Vietnam War Story is an HBO anthology that aired episodes from 1987 to 1989. Each episode gave a unique perspective about the Vietnam War as told by soldiers, nurses, and civilians in the states. Also notable for early performances from Wesley Snipes and Eriq La Salle.

M16 Rifle

The M16 rifle is the standard rifle carried by the majority of the American soldiers in the series.

The original M16, the first version, firing in a 20-round magazine, adopted in large numbers by the U.S. Army in Vietnam. It would later be replaced by the upgraded M16A1 - 5.56mm

MGC Replica M16 rifle

A number of characters were seen carrying MGC M16 Replica rifles for scenes where they didn't carry the blank-firing M16 rifles.

The MGC M16 Assault rifle: a non firing metal replica built by the Model Gun Corp of Japan and one of the most used non firing replicas of the M16 in movies and television
