Sophie Marceau in Female Agents

There shouldn't be multiple images from the same film on actor pages. I recommend that as you obviously have screencaps from the film you should be putting them on the movie page as if it is left blank like that it will end up getying deleted very quickly. --commando552 11:23, 24 February 2012 (CST)

Image file names

You don't have to upload a new image if the file name is wrong. Just change it on the page. Thanks. --Funkychinaman 15:51, 2 March 2012 (CST)

That's what I didn't know. I'm in the name photos and name of the gun and it's probably a mistake, if it turns out later as incorrect. --Pandolfini 23:19, 2 March 2012 (CST)

Actor names

Please make sure that actor names are spelled correctly before creating pages. --Funkychinaman 11:29, 4 March 2012 (CST)

Yes, sorry - Maximilian ... . --Pandolfini 20:00, 4 March 2012 (CST)

And "Ryan O´Neil" is Ryan O'Neal. --Funkychinaman 13:08, 4 March 2012 (CST)

I know him to the difference from the first actor for a long time, and the whole years, I thought that his name is Neil. I'm so sorry. --Pandolfini 23:26, 4 March 2012 (CST)

Usage of HyperLinks

Don't put hyperlinks to the gun pages in the titles of the sections. When creating a gun title section for a movie page, write a preliminary sentence like "A Smith & Wesson Model 10 is used by Joe Smith when hunting the monster" in the section above the gun image and screenshots. You don't put it in the title "==Smith & Wesson Model 10==" at the top of the section. --Jcordell 10:30, 16 March 2012 (CDT)

I see. Here is the problem that I'm working like this: Copy the entire previous post, and only in him do I change the data. Then it automatically copies from the previous post. I'm sorry for bad English.--Pandolfini 02:39, 18 March 2012 (CDT)

Where did you copy it from? And I removed the links from the subheadings for Arms for Prague (Zbrane pro Prahu). I think you have to do The Silent Barricade. --Funkychinaman 02:51, 18 March 2012 (CDT)

Wrong, I said: I made a copy of my older post (Silent Barricade) and put into an empty field for the new post (Arms for Prague) insert now. Then I just changed only the names and data, the hyperlinks was copied from the old in the new. Sorry and thanks for removal.--Pandolfini 09:21, 18 March 2012 (CDT)

Nemá barikáda

My apologies if I seem like I am teasing you about the summary for Nemá barikáda, but it is very funny and, unfortunately, very disjointed. If you need ANY help with english translations, please allow me to help in anyway I can. (I am in the film industry here in US so I am very busy right now so don't worry if I disappear for days at a time). best regards MoviePropMaster2008 15:37, 18 March 2012 (CDT)

I really would appreciate help me enough to grammatically edit the txt. I think - you comprehend what it is to be there, you just need to put it into the correct form. I use Google translator :)--Pandolfini 15:48, 18 March 2012 (CDT)

Quick grammar lesson

Here's a copy of some quick grammar tips I made for Greg-Z Not trying to be a jerk, but you could use some grammar help. It's "he readies the weapon"(with an ies) or "he is readying the weapon", not "he is reading the weapon" To ready a weapon is to get it prepared, you read a book.

Rather than a shootout in the snows, it's a shootout in the snow.

Instead of "he is firing weapon X', try "he fires weapon X", or "he opens fire with weapon X". Same thing with shoot/shoots.

One character fires (with an s), multiple characters fire (without the s)

English grammar is weird, but here's hoping you can improve. --Mandolin 22:20, 18 March 2012 (CDT)

Yes, weird!:))Virtually no chance to understand it as throwing some words changes the meaning and sometimes the same sentence has many different meanings. English words are missing a lot compared with Czech and replaces the missing words to grammatical spells. Better if someone corrects me, the lyrics in the grammatically correct shapes. --Pandolfini 05:06, 19 March 2012 (CDT)

Redirects

Please look at the Markéta Hrubesová on how to do a proper redirect. Thanks. --Funkychinaman 18:03, 25 March 2012 (CDT)

Oh, like this. Thanks! I already tried it with the actor: Marie Vášová.--Pandolfini and Jaroslav Mareš But problems is with Hana Cízková: Hana is properly Čížková, but it makes a syntax error! Next Jan Preucil is Jan Přeučil! And weit Karel Hlusicka is Karel Hlušička and Ladislav Mrkvicka is Mrkvička.

--Pandolfini 01:15, 26 March 2012 (CDT)

Two things: 1) Instead of creating a new page and turning the old one into a redirect, you can just use the "Move" tool, which is the second tab from the right, next to "Watch." That does both in one step. 2) Just go by however the name is formatted in IMDb. It may not be 100% correct, but that's the rule. Thanks. --Funkychinaman 08:12, 26 March 2012 (CDT)
So Jan Preucil is fine. --Funkychinaman 08:14, 26 March 2012 (CDT)

A little friendly advice

I see what you are doing a lot of small edits on your pages. It will be rationally to use the button "Show preview" and check the text in the preview mode before saving the page. This saves much time and efforts. Greg-Z 09:31, 19 April 2012 (CDT)

I'm doing it too. But it happened to me in the midst of working on a long post to become the site suddenly off-line and everything was lost. And many times it shows me the error after the transfer (I have automatic compiler). In google translator enters text'll translate. Then I post and I will send, and it turns out that the translation is not good, so I have to adjust again and again, unfortunately ...--Pandolfini 09:39, 19 April 2012 (CDT)

Well, when I make a page I copy everything to notepad before I view or save the page. I also have troubles with connect to IMFDB, and a copy of text with all wiki tags saves my work. Greg-Z 10:48, 19 April 2012 (CDT)

Editing in Aazaan

Mate, I'm wondering why you've removed some of the categories for Aazaan. I've read up documentation and all that says the movie has been filmed in those places. Ominae 02:40, 6 May 2012 (CDT)

I need a favor for "The Black Battalion"

In the film, what characters did these actors play? Günther Simon, Ladislav Chudík, Miriam Hynková? Thanks MoviePropMaster2008 02:08, 7 May 2012 (CDT)

Günther Simon is Gerhardt - [1] Ladislav Chudík is major - [2] Miriam Hynková is "girl" (in Airport?) - [3] --Pandolfini 04:14, 7 May 2012 (CDT)

Episode

Episodes go in the Note column, not in the Title column. Please stop changing them back. --Zackmann08 17:45, 12 May 2012 (CDT)

Change tables

When modifying tables in the guns pages, please place the episode title in the Notes column instead of with the Title column as the Notes column contains more space. --Ben41 18:45, 12 May 2012 (CDT)

Re: Model 17 Stielhandgranate

Yes, you are right. In The Lighthorsemen it is really Model 17. A movie prop, I suppose, but looks like real Model 17. Greg-Z 14:24, 17 May 2012 (CDT)

But otherwise you were right - it is the only exception to the rule, that it neglects many filmmakers, when uses Model 24 in WWI.:)--Pandolfini 14:42, 17 May 2012 (CDT)

Screenshot file names

Just a reminder. When you do screenshots, remember to put in some sort of reference to the movie title in the name. Like Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, are commonly referred to as TSCC. Overly generic screenshot titles like "Bandit bomb" or "Soldier Mauser 98" can be confused with or clash with other similarly named images from other movies. Try to make your screenshot names unique to your movie. Thanks. MoviePropMaster2008 12:41, 26 May 2012 (CDT)

hyperlink Director's names

You do not have to hyperlink names of directors because they generally will not have a page on the site. It would be better to just add a different film that the director has made that is also on the site. For example, Terence Young (Dr. No). --Ben41 01:42, 27 May 2012 (CDT)

Yes, thx. --Pandolfini 01:46, 27 May 2012 (CDT)

Gun Tables

When you create a table for gun occurrences, the title goes in the FIRST column, NOT the third. (Hebel Flare Pistol Model 1894). Also, if you are not going to provide a length or weight, don't just put them and leave it blank. It looks bad. --Zackmann08 23:42, 3 June 2012 (CDT)

No problem, O.K. But that's not my fault! When I had create a new post, first i´m copy a similar, existing, as a model. Thus, the error was already in there.--Pandolfini 01:51, 4 June 2012 (CDT)

That's fine. I know that a number of pages on here still use the incorrect format. If you come across them, please fix them. Also, you have been around here long enough that you should know when responding to a post on your discussion page, you should post your response on that person's page, not your own. --Zackmann08 14:51, 4 June 2012 (CDT)

Ok. What on earth are you doing now. When you posted on my discussion wall you deleted comments left by a dozen other people... This is pretty simple, just click the "add topic" button... --Zackmann08 16:06, 4 June 2012 (CDT)

Flintlock Pistol

Not sure what you were doing with the Flintlock Pistol page but you need to keep things in order...

It's okay. I checked it - every actor, every movie ....--Pandolfini 10:40, 5 June 2012 (CDT)

Yes but the dates were out of order.... I fixed it. Nevermind. --Zackmann08 10:49, 5 June 2012 (CDT)

And again, you need to respond on MY page. NOT on your own... --Zackmann08 10:49, 5 June 2012 (CDT)

Film Title

Remember to capitalize the first letter of every word in an English title. Do not capitalize the words "to", "and", "of", "or", "for", "the" unless it is the first word in the title. --Ben41 03:54, 8 June 2012 (CDT)

You wrote "World knows Nothing, The" for the English title. It should say "World Knows Nothing, The". The "K" should be big letter instead of little letter. --Ben41 13:24, 8 June 2012 (CDT)

Thank you very much

A thousand thanks to your work bringing so many wonderful classic films to our attention. I'm rather tired of only the new things and prefer the classics!Foofbun 17:53, 9 June 2012 (CDT)

    • Oh something I must know if you can help. Are their restored versions of Harald Reinel's and other popular German war/action films of the 50s/60s available in restored versions on DVD over there?Foofbun 20:20, 10 June 2012 (CDT)

"Trigger"

Keď vidíš "Trigger" (akože spousť) niekde, to znamená že stránka je nekompletná, a potrebuje ďalšie obrázky alebo text. Tak ako aj zbraň je nekompletná, keď nemá spousť. :D bozitojugg3rn4ut 12:15, 11 June 2012 (CDT)

Ulla Johanssen

As much as I wanted there, there's a reason why I didn't use her on the main Inglorious Bastards page. We have to keep things PG here. Is there one of her clothed? --Funkychinaman 16:58, 11 June 2012 (CDT)

Are you crazy? I think I just hurt myself picturing that in my mind. ;). From the Rules, "Screenshots should be worksafe where possible." When I did the IB page, it was an easy decision to make, since just about every major character uses an MP40 at one point or another. --Funkychinaman 18:21, 11 June 2012 (CDT)
Worksafe is basically anything you feel comfortable viewing from your computer at work or at school. Practically, it means no nudity or excessive gore. Nudity USUALLY doesn't come up, but if it's absolutely necessary, then you can alter the screencap as necessary. (I was also a bit reluctant to make a page for Ulla since, from what I can tell looking at her IMDb page, she was some sort of porn star.) And yes, I completed the IB page a few months ago. --Funkychinaman 18:37, 11 June 2012 (CDT)
Well, what can I say, America was founded by Puritans. I'm pretty sure the only I got was released only a few years ago to ride on the publicity of Tarantino's IB. --Funkychinaman 18:52, 11 June 2012 (CDT)

Template

If you are going to make an infobox for a page, as you did for Czterej pancerni i pies, please use this template (Template:Infobox TV) so that it matches the other pages. --Zackmann08 13:00, 15 June 2012 (CDT)

I have redone the Archiv des Todes page. Try using it as a template now. --Zackmann08 13:25, 15 June 2012 (CDT)

Work In Progress template

When you create a page that you plan to complement and extend, please add WIP template. It will show to other users that the page is not finished yet and will be upgraded. Greg-Z 10:33, 27 June 2012 (CDT)

Max Manus

I'll make a Max Manus page. --Funkychinaman 14:46, 27 June 2012 (CDT)

CZ 40 P

The CZ 40 has not appeared in anything... Why did you create that page? --Zackmann08 19:38, 28 June 2012 (CDT)

Wow. I cannot understand ANYTHING you are saying. If the gun hasn't appeared in anything, it doesn't get a page. Doesn't matter if it has "a great future". Plus, the text is so clearly plagiarized... --Zackmann08 20:07, 28 June 2012 (CDT)
And now you are creating the CZ 97?! A gun must appear in something before it gets a page! --Zackmann08 20:10, 28 June 2012 (CDT)
It must appear in a film/tv show/video game before it gets a page. Have you read the Rules, Standards and Principles? You've been a member here long enough that you should know the rules. --Zackmann08 20:21, 28 June 2012 (CDT)

I'm not arguing with you. The rules are there for a reason. Follow them. Until a gun appears in a film, tv show or video game it does not get it's own page NOR does it get included on a manufacturers page. Period. --Zackmann08 20:25, 28 June 2012 (CDT)

We're not here to be a catalog of CZ or any other company's weapons. The manufacturer pages are a guide of what's ALREADY HERE. If you want the CZ 40 or 97 here, find a movie that has it. --Funkychinaman 22:08, 28 June 2012 (CDT)
If you have a problem with the rules, you do not have to stick around. No one is forcing you to be here. --Zackmann08 23:10, 28 June 2012 (CDT)

Periods in Blank cells

When there is no text that needs to appear in a cell, please leave it blank. Don't place a "." in the cell as you did with Jirí Korn's page. --Zackmann08 17:24, 9 July 2012 (CDT)

Once again, please DO NOT place periods (.) in empty cells. Leave them blank. You did this again on Benelli M Series Super 90 Shotguns. --Zackmann08 17:36, 10 July 2012 (CDT)

Ussaro Mod 1786

Why did you create a page in the old list format instead of the table?? (Ussaro Mod 1786) --Zackmann08 13:34, 14 July 2012 (CDT)

The find a page that has a table, and copy it from there. Or take it from my user page, I have the table code there. You have been around here long enough that you should start figuring this stuff out. --Zackmann08 14:21, 14 July 2012 (CDT)

New images

If you're going to upload new versions of the same image, can you just use the "Upload a new version of this file" option? It saves on deleting duplicate images. Thanks. --Funkychinaman 10:16, 27 July 2012 (CDT)

It doesn't update automatically. You have to change the size on the page, like going from 600px to 601px. Try it. --Funkychinaman 10:23, 27 July 2012 (CDT)
Just a note on what Funky said. It does eventually update on its own but this can take a couple of days. The trick that Funky mentioned (changing the image size from 600px to 601px) forces it to update immediately. --Zackmann08 10:35, 27 July 2012 (CDT)

Frommer/Femaru

As you can see, we have a Femaru 37M, not a Frommer 37M, but we have a Frommer Stop, not a Femaru Stop. If you want to help clarify that, be my guest. --Funkychinaman 15:05, 30 July 2012 (CDT)

Changing page title

If you want to change the title of a page like for the 2 cm Flak 38 you can move the page using the "Move" option (from the arrow next to "View History"). Just blanking the page means an admin has to delete it, but moving the page fixes it automatically. --commando552 13:31, 31 August 2012 (CDT)

Weapon listings layout

Remember; weapon listings should go

Header
Description with links to weapon and actor pages
Stock image
Screencaps with individual descriptions

You keep making pages where the main description for each listing is missing and all the links are under each screencap. The descriptions for each weapon and who uses it are supposed to be the first thing under each listing with further details given under each screencap.--PistolJunkie (talk) 15:30, 20 September 2012 (EDT)

Quick

I have fixed some of the wording on the page you made for Quick. Please use the new words as reference when adding descriptions to future pages. --Ben41 (talk) 17:07, 20 September 2012 (EDT)

Yes, so please try putting my sentences into the translator to give a better translation. --Ben41 (talk) 18:16, 20 September 2012 (EDT)

Translation Check

I put this sentence in the translator in English: "Quick points the Smith & Wesson 4506 pistol at Brewer´s bodyguard Janet Sakamoto." Here's how the sentence comes out in Czech: Rychlé bodů Smith & Wesson 4506 Pistole na bodyguarda Pivovarské Janet Sakamoto. Can you understand the sentence in Czech? --Ben41 (talk) 01:40, 21 September 2012 (EDT)

You need to be careful of how your words translate to English as the sentences cannot be understood sometimes. --Ben41 (talk) 21:11, 21 September 2012 (EDT)

Duplicate images

People mis-ID stuff all the time. I'm sure there are hundreds of images with inaccurate image names, just roll with it. If you still insist on uploading the same image under a different name, at least tag the older image so we can delete it. Thanks. --Funkychinaman (talk) 17:00, 27 September 2012 (EDT)

You can use nuke or duplicate. --Funkychinaman (talk) 17:24, 27 September 2012 (EDT)

FYI

We already have a page for Basic Instinct. --Funkychinaman (talk) 14:31, 28 September 2012 (EDT)

Please don't reveal deaths

For A Perfect Murder, please do not reveal the ending of the film by saying that Emily kills her husband. Please write your captions with more generic words. Also, the Glock 18 is a very special weapon and would not be simply used as a background prop. --Ben41 (talk) 19:10, 3 October 2012 (EDT)

Brightness

You can use Photoshop or Fast Stone Image Viewer to raise the "brightness" of the picture. --Ben41 (talk) 19:29, 4 October 2012 (EDT)

Delete

Once again, if you want a page or image deleted, please just tag it with Nuke . Thanks. --Funkychinaman (talk) 08:29, 8 October 2012 (EDT)

Jane Doe

FYI, TV movies are still counted as movies, not television. It's basically long form vs. short form. (Miniseries are considered TV though.) --Funkychinaman (talk) 23:14, 8 October 2012 (EDT)

Graphic images

Please either avoid graphic screencaps, or, if they are unavoidable, censor them to the best of your ability. The back of someone's head blowing out would certainly qualify as graphic. Thanks. --Funkychinaman (talk) 09:51, 18 October 2012 (EDT)

Adding pictures to actor pages

Please try to avoid using pictures of actors putting guns to their heads or in their mouths for use on the actor pages. Also when writing descriptions on movie pages, please remember to add around the name of an actor. --Ben41 (talk) 16:58, 18 October 2012 (EDT)

The Ninth Gate

Before you make the page, the correct spelling of the title is The Ninth Gate. --Ben41 (talk) 16:58, 18 October 2012 (EDT)Thx very very much!

Templates

Please use Actor FTV Title for actors with TV credits. Actor Title only mentions film. Thanks. --Funkychinaman (talk) 09:42, 9 November 2012 (EST)

Also, for television credits, if an actor only uses a weapon in one episode, please list the year the episode aired, not the entire run. --Funkychinaman (talk) 10:59, 9 November 2012 (EST)

Automag vs Wildey

That pic you put in the Automag page is a Wildey. http://www.imfdb.org/wiki/Wildey --Predator20 (talk) 20:00, 9 November 2012 (EST)

Madeline Stowe

Sorry, but please keep biographies of actors to one or two sentences only. --Ben41 (talk) 05:50, 25 November 2012 (EST)

Lengthy detailed biographies of actors are not necessary for this site. Wikipedia can be used for this. One or two sentences about whether the actor has had an interesting background prior to show business or if there is interesting relation pertaining to the actor. Also, because you are using a translator to write your biography, a lot of your words are being mistranslated, and are difficult to read, and requires a lot of cleanup later. --Ben41 (talk) 14:15, 26 November 2012 (EST)

Casanova '70

Hi! As it seems to me, the first screenshot shows a half track armored carrier of M2/M3 family. The large gun looks more like a recoilless gun (maybe a 106mm M40), and the AA gun is most likely a Browning M2 which is a typical weapon of M2/M3 halftracks. Also M2 MGs are mounted on the turrets of Sherman tanks on the last screenshot. Greg-Z (talk) 10:50, 1 December 2012 (EST)

Keep summaries brief

When writing summaries for movies and TV series, please keep your summaries short. There is no need to explain the entire plot of the film in a paragraph. Like your summaries for actor pages, the translation does not come out perfectly, which requires a lot of cleanup for others to do. Please limit your future summaries to one or two sentences. --Ben41 (talk) 10:48, 11 December 2012 (EST)

I'll make it simple "<insert title> is a <insert year> <insert nationality> <insert genre> film directed by <insert director> starring <insert actors>." --Funkychinaman (talk) 11:23, 11 December 2012 (EST)
Please do not copy and paste summaries from wikipedia or other sources like you did for The Apocalypse Code. --Funkychinaman (talk) 09:24, 15 June 2013 (EDT)

Infobox

When making infoboxes for movies, please only include cast members who already have a page on the site. --Ben41 (talk) 13:27, 21 January 2013 (EST)

Lady Cop

Commando552 basically said what I was going to say. --Funkychinaman (talk) 12:09, 7 February 2013 (EST)

The Professional

A) You can just use the move tool, which preserves the page history rather than manually creating a new page and redirect, and B) The Professional is the American release title, so it was fine as it was. --Funkychinaman (talk) 17:46, 8 February 2013 (EST)

Because it has an American title, it does not need the original title in parentheses, and because Leon was released as The Professional in the US, it should be Professional, The (1981). You can create a redirect for Le Professionnel, only foreign titles without American release titles get the parentheses. --Funkychinaman (talk) 17:53, 8 February 2013 (EST)
Let's stick with the accepted standard and just go with the year. You can create a disambiguation page if you like. --Funkychinaman (talk) 18:04, 8 February 2013 (EST)
I just moved it. Look at the tabs at the top of the page, and you should see "Move." If you move a page, you shift its edit history, and it automatically creates a redirect. You can disable the option of creating a redirect, but that's rarely done. --Funkychinaman (talk) 18:19, 8 February 2013 (EST)

Obratnoj dorogi net

You mentioned Josef Šebek in PPSh entry. It seems to be an error, this actor doesn't appear in this movie. Greg-Z (talk) 14:11, 31 March 2013 (EDT)

Here:
Galya (Galina Polskikh) and Michal (Josef Šebek) (right) are going to attack a German convoy.

Is this actor really Josef Šebek? He isn't credited in this movie. Greg-Z (talk) 14:37, 31 March 2013 (EDT)

I think that you are right, there is a continuity error when Toporkov's weapon switches from MP to PPS. Greg-Z (talk) 07:57, 1 April 2013 (EDT)
Made-for-TV movies are put in Movie category, not in Television (it is stated in IMFDB Style Guide). I change category of this movie and make appropriate edits in actors pages.

Unidentified machine gun

Sorry, I cannot help. I think that this MG is a movie prop, made from parts of several guns, but this is only a guess. Greg-Z (talk) 02:19, 2 April 2013 (EDT)

May be a Soviet 25mm automatic gun 72-K (also known as M1940). Greg-Z (talk) 05:30, 2 April 2013 (EDT)

Male and Female

Males are referred to as he, him, his. Woman are referred to as she, her, hers. Please stop calling woman him.--Mandolin (talk) 18:10, 27 April 2013 (EDT)

Enemy

Are you going to be finishing the page you made for Enemy? --Funkychinaman (talk) 06:01, 19 May 2013 (EDT)

I generally prefer that people do not create incomplete pages that require other people to complete. If no one has found it in two weeks, I'll have to move it over to the discussion page. --Funkychinaman (talk) 15:32, 19 May 2013 (EDT)
Those are closer to completion. If we had screencaps, maybe we can ID the actors for you. --Funkychinaman (talk) 16:05, 19 May 2013 (EDT)

Dempsey and Makepeace

I'm trying to make an ID on a pistol I came across. Do you know if this weapon was actually fired in this episode? --Funkychinaman (talk) 15:10, 7 June 2013 (EDT)

Jim Presley (Terence Budd) with his unusual weapon ...
... aiming at Jack Cade (Tom Georgeson).

Dynamite

Dynamite was taken off the main page for The Mummy because these are not legitimate firearms. --Ben41 (talk) 00:20, 12 June 2013 (EDT)

Dynamite should not be listed as a separate entry. It was only included in the list of items in O'Connell's pack of weapons --Ben41 (talk) 01:24, 12 June 2013 (EDT)

Fuse Bomb

That type of bomb is sometimes called a grenado, a primitive grenade used by pirates. Since it's not a real weapon, it should probably go in the fantasy weapons section. --Ben41 (talk) 01:37, 12 June 2013 (EDT)

Cartoon style bomb is the wrong identification. Unlike grenades and mines, dynamite is not a specific type to weapon. Crossbows and knives are not usually included unless there is something significant about its use in the film or series such as the unique knife used by Rambo. --Ben41 (talk) 02:30, 12 June 2013 (EDT)
Molotov cocktails should be moved to the discussion page, but due to the vast amount of pages, these haven't been removed. --Ben41 (talk) 02:36, 12 June 2013 (EDT)
Do NOT add a new category for this. Add this to the discussion page. --Ben41 (talk) 02:43, 12 June 2013 (EDT)
You can add this as an "Other" entry, but the admins reserve the right to move this, if determined that these are not eligible for the main page. --Ben41 (talk) 02:55, 12 June 2013 (EDT)

This is from the Rules, Standards and Principles:

Though we do list a variety of weapons in the individual movie/TV/anime/Videogame pages, that's just for the sake of being 100% complete for that page. With the exception of grenades (which we do allow), the only weapons which merit an individual page in the GUNS Category are any individual or crew served weapon that fires in a DIRECT FIRE role. Thus an RPG-7 qualifies as does an M134 Minigun. A grenade launcher is also used in the direct fire role. Though a flamethrower is not a firearm, it fires its payload in a direct fire role (i.e. aimed directly line of sight at the item/person to be destroyed). What we do not allow are weapons which are too large to be operated by either an individual or small crew or are used primarily as indirect fire delivery systems. This disqualifies fuel air bombs, all air dropped bombs, mortars, artillery, IEDs, most explosive ordnance (other than a commonly issued grenade), cruise missiles, or the guns on a Naval battleship. Even the M230 Chain Gun has been used by crews in direct fire roles (not mounted on a helicopter nose) (at least one AC-130 Spectre Gunship has fired an M230 from a side firing platform, manned by the aircraft's gunners). This rule applies to individual pages in the Guns Category. Feel free to identify ANY military weapons system that you can verify on the movie or television pages. The pages have "Gun Platform" sections just for that purpose, which allows us to denote tactical military vehicles, boats or aircraft which possess a primary (and sometimes secondary) offensive armament.

What is the reason for mass removing entries?

May I ask why you delete entries from many pages and move them to discussion pages? Greg-Z (talk) 04:05, 12 June 2013 (EDT)

Removing such weapons from actors pages is completely wrong. I'll undo your edit again. Greg-Z (talk) 04:58, 12 June 2013 (EDT)
You were right. I was wrong. My apologies. Greg-Z (talk) 11:30, 12 June 2013 (EDT)

Please determine the model of gun properly !!

I saw the page you created your. Please have a firm determine the type of gun first. You mistaken for a sub-machine gun assault rifle. Please judge a closer look. By the way, that cover is the Japanese version, not the China version. - KINKI'boy(Talk) 22:22,15 June 2013 (JST)

Dnieper Line

Removing the entry about KS fire bottle is incorrect. It is not an improvised weapon, like a bottle with petrol. It is a standart type of incendiary weapons of Red Army: a glass grenade with napalm-type incendiary liquid. In the Dnieper Line this weapon depicted very correctly and must be on the page, like hand grenades.

I don't want to wage a war of edits but if you will continue such practice I'll have to undo the edits again and again. Greg-Z (talk) 08:02, 19 June 2013 (EDT)

OK, let it remain so. I only think that a title "Incendiary Bottle" will be more correct than "Fire Bottle". Also there were German incendiary glass grenades: Brandflasche and Brandhandgranate 48/57 (though I've never seen any of them in a movie). Greg-Z (talk) 13:45, 19 June 2013 (EDT)
The key problem with this weapon is that very rarely we can see an accurate replica of glass grenade. In most war movies only very rude mockups can be seen. That's why I so much appreciate the prop in Dnieper Line. Also a very interesting replica of incendiary bottle can be seen in Prikaz: ogon ne otkryvat. Greg-Z (talk) 15:11, 19 June 2013 (EDT)

Fire Bottle

Can you cut down on the fire bottle description? It's not necessary to go include ingredients, we don't want to give anyone any ideas. --Funkychinaman (talk) 16:29, 19 June 2013 (EDT)

Maybe just a general description? You don't have to describe the ingredients as much. --Funkychinaman (talk) 18:45, 19 June 2013 (EDT)

Actor Pictures

Please do not remove images from actors' pages unless you find a higher quality one that shows the actor face clearly. --Ben41 (talk) 21:21, 21 June 2013 (EDT)

Check to see if the pictures you removed are not ones that were just added. (I just added that picture of Chris O'Donnell). --Ben41 (talk) 01:41, 22 June 2013 (EDT)
Then don't take away the one that was just added. --23:34, 22 June 2013 (EDT)

Soviet Produced

A new "Soviet Produced" category has been created for all Russian, Ukrainian, Belorussian, etc films produced prior to 1992. --Funkychinaman (talk) 16:04, 25 June 2013 (EDT)

You can find who? --Funkychinaman (talk) 17:29, 25 June 2013 (EDT)

Uploads

Please remember to tag your uploads with either or . Thanks. --Funkychinaman (talk) 18:39, 25 June 2013 (EDT)

See above. You've been here a long time, this isn't new. --Funkychinaman (talk) 18:08, 26 June 2013 (EDT)
No, tag your images with or when you upload them. Have you never done that? --Funkychinaman (talk) 18:21, 26 June 2013 (EDT)
Like this,
IMFDB Category.jpg
--Funkychinaman (talk) 18:35, 26 June 2013 (EDT)
You can also use the templates SS instead of , and PCA instead of to make it easier and save time. You can also use the screenshot template to automatically generate a link to the page it is used on as well as putting in the correct category tag by doing Name of the Page. --commando552 (talk) 18:39, 26 June 2013 (EDT)

Posters

Many, if not all of us, prefer movie posters to DVD covers. There's usually a lot more effort and money spent on posters, especially for older films, than on DVD covers. --Funkychinaman (talk) 17:00, 22 November 2013 (EST)

If we could go all movie poster, that'd be great. I just don't think that's possible since it's harder to find posters for some of the most obscure films. If you want to put both on the page, that's fine, but please use the movie poster on top if possible. --Funkychinaman (talk) 17:11, 22 November 2013 (EST)
Please don't change the posters to dvd covers if the posters are already available. --Ben41 (talk) 18:10, 22 November 2013 (EST)

Thumbnail size

Widescreen thumbnails are to be set to 600px, as documented here. --Funkychinaman (talk) 17:29, 17 December 2013 (EST)

Guns of Juana Gallo

I'll try to help with the artillery but a little later, when I'll have more time for it. Greg-Z (talk) 05:23, 4 January 2014 (EST)

Well, now I have some time for all these guns. What I think about them: the first cannon in Guns of Juana Gallo isn't a mountain gun but rather a 75-mm Saint Chamond-Mondragón field gun. It was manufactured in France for Mexican Army Here is a photo of such cannon during the Mexican revolution. The second one seems to be a much more modern 105-mm M101 howitzer. Sorry, I cannot identify the gun in Libertarias. Greg-Z (talk) 13:09, 4 January 2014 (EST)

Milla Jovovich

Do not change the pictures on the Milla Jovovich page. Also make sure that the pictures you add to other actor's pages are clear pictures and not just added because a new movie page was done. --Ben41 (talk) 19:30, 4 January 2014 (EST)

I've changed it to three pictures. Please do not change this again. --Ben41 (talk) 19:55, 4 January 2014 (EST)
I originally had the five pictures to show that she wielded two guns in nearly all the Resident Evil films. Please do not remove from the discussion section. --Ben41 (talk) 02:38, 5 January 2014 (EST)

Categorize your images, please!

Please, don't forget to put (or simply SS template) on every screenshot that you upload. I'm trying to lessen the number of uncategorized images, working everyday in Uncategorized Files, while you increase their number again. Greg-Z (talk) 01:51, 6 January 2014 (EST)

The Bounty

Again, please try to find a movie poster first before using a DVD cover for a movie page. Also, avoid writing very general summaries and that just says who directed and who starred. --Ben41 (talk) 19:03, 7 February 2014 (EST)

Asian actors

Just a reminder, all actors pages, including those for Asian actors, are <Given Name> <Family Name>. Certain exceptions can be granted, but the only exception that's come up so far is Chow Yun-Fat. --Funkychinaman (talk) 23:09, 10 February 2014 (EST)

Jean Bouise

I assume you have plans on creating a page for Un neveu silencieux. In the future, please create the page first before creating the page for an actor with no other appearances. --Funkychinaman (talk) 17:29, 12 February 2014 (EST)

None of which makes his eligible for a page here. Find some media where he handles or carries a gun, and he can stay. --Funkychinaman (talk) 17:52, 12 February 2014 (EST)
It's shaky, but enough to stay I suppose. --Funkychinaman (talk) 18:14, 12 February 2014 (EST)
Wait, you don't actually have a cap of the unidentified revolver? --Funkychinaman (talk) 18:26, 12 February 2014 (EST)
I only caught about half of that. Look, he's got 107 credits on IMDb. I'm sure you can find one where he's clearly using a gun. --Funkychinaman (talk) 18:48, 12 February 2014 (EST)
Fine, but that's not how it's supposed to work. We don't make pages for people who will eventually be eligible, we have pages people who are. --Funkychinaman (talk) 19:16, 12 February 2014 (EST)

Some ideas about unidentified guns

I have some ideas about unidentified guns in Le Coup du parapluie and L'année sainte. Please look at discussion pages. Maybe these guesses would be useful. Greg-Z (talk) 13:13, 23 February 2014 (EST)

Carcano 91/38

You are wrong when changing the caliber of Carcano 91/38 from 6.5 to 7.35. Model 91/38 was produced only in 6.5mm caliber while 7.35mm version is known as Fucile di Fanteria Mod. 1938. And what is a Carcano M38/44? The last version of Carcano was Model 98/41 in 6.5mm. What is the source of this "38/44" rifle? I guess it's an error. Greg-Z (talk) 03:43, 2 March 2014 (EST)

"Barrel dated 1944" doesn't mean that it is a Model 1944. The 7.92mm version had no Italian name because it was a German convertion of captured Italian rifles. I roll back your edits in caliber except the image of "M38/44" that need an additional research. I guess that it's a Model 91/24. Greg-Z (talk) 11:27, 2 March 2014 (EST)

Raid on Entebbe

My personal thanks for Raid on Entebbe! I was trying for a long time to make this page but couldn't find the film in decent quality. It's great that you have made this page with such perfect screenshots. Greg-Z (talk) 22:10, 5 March 2014 (EST)

Guidelines

Please take a moment to go over the IMFDB Style Guide. It covers thumbnail sizes and initialism. I've had to remind you several times about setting widescreen thumbnails to 600px. It's one thing to forget, it's another to undo what I've fixed. --Funkychinaman (talk) 17:12, 19 March 2014 (EDT)

Once again, please remember to use the proper thumbnail size. --Funkychinaman (talk) 20:05, 23 March 2014 (EDT)

The cannon in Real Glory

I guess that it can be a 1.65-inch (42mm) M1875 mountain gun. Here it is in Wikipedia. Greg-Z (talk) 23:37, 7 April 2014 (EDT)

Tokarev

This film would be released in USA only in July 11, 2014. And rules tells: "Since this is a U.S. Based site, only the official U.S. release date for the DVD, etc will be valid." Sorry, but admins need to delete this page. The content would be moved to Discussion page, and the page would be restored in proper time. Greg-Z (talk) 03:20, 1 June 2014 (EDT)

I'm sorry but the law is the law. After USA release the page would be restored. Concerning the weapons, I have a guess that S&W revolver is a Smith & Wesson Model 64 or maybe a Smith & Wesson Model 65 (the shape of front sight looks more like Model 64 but I'm still unsure). Unidentified shotgun can be a Serbu Super Shorty while a SWD/Cobray Street Sweeper is also seen in Unidentified assault rifles section. Greg-Z (talk) 04:09, 1 June 2014 (EDT)
These IDs are still a mess. Many of them are still incorrect. The Smith & Wesson Model 60 looks like a S&W 686, for example. The unknown revolver looks like some sort of Taurus revolver. --Funkychinaman (talk) 06:08, 1 June 2014 (EDT)
Maybe a Taurus Raging Bull? Greg-Z (talk) 06:16, 1 June 2014 (EDT)
I think you should wait until Tokarev goes live before you add to the actor and weapons pages, especially since a lot of your IDs are still questionable. --Funkychinaman (talk) 16:34, 1 June 2014 (EDT)

Non-Stop

Sorry, but while Non-Stop is available on June 10, it's still not that date in the US, so please wait at least 12 hours more before adding to the page. --Ben41 (talk) 20:47, 9 June 2014 (EDT)

I usually check this page here. I am a bit bothered however, the Region 2 home video release date appears to be June 30th. Legal sources only please. --Funkychinaman (talk) 22:55, 9 June 2014 (EDT)
June 10th for Region 1. According to Amazon UK, the Region 2 DVD release is June 30th. You are in Region 2, are you not? --Funkychinaman (talk) 02:20, 10 June 2014 (EDT)
And you're right, you're a few hours ahead of us, so please adjust accordingly. Eastern Daylight Time is GMT - 4, Eastern Standard Time is GMT - 5. --Funkychinaman (talk) 02:28, 10 June 2014 (EDT)

Renaming pages

Your method of renaming pages is wrong. You are removing the contain of some page and then creating another one with new title where you move the content. Doing so, you loose the history of original page and the discussion which isn't good. The correct method is using the "Move" button on top of the page. By using "Move", you rename the page, keeping all its history and discussion and automatically creating a redirect from old title. Please use "Move" in future, it would be a more correct way. Greg-Z (talk) 13:36, 27 June 2014 (EDT)

Actor Images

The reason Sarah Shahi image was there because Person of Interest is her most recent series. Please check to see what user put the image up on the actor page before removing it. --Ben41 (talk) 16:56, 2 July 2014 (EDT)

Tokarev restored

As Tokarev is released in USA at last, I restored the page so you can continue the work. Greg-Z (talk) 01:58, 30 July 2014 (EDT)

Desert Fury revolver

It's hard to make a firm identification but I can guess that it's a Smith & Wesson Model 10. Greg-Z (talk) 05:35, 30 July 2014 (EDT)

Move tool

We've told you four times already, just use the move tool rather than blanking a page and creating a new one. --Funkychinaman (talk) 17:26, 5 August 2014 (EDT)

Unidentified weapons

I already looked on these guns but sorry, I have no idea what it can be. Greg-Z (talk) 03:04, 10 August 2014 (EDT)

I think that you are right, it's most probably SACM M1935A. Greg-Z (talk) 15:56, 13 August 2014 (EDT)

Nickel plated P38

I have a guess that a white P38 that is seen in Code Name: Tiger (Le Tigre aime la chair fraîche) isn't nickel plated but rather a post-war French-manufactured pistol with gray phosphate finish. Here is a good example of such pistol. Though I'm not sure that this guess is correct. Greg-Z (talk) 10:42, 13 August 2014 (EDT)

You are right, the grips are black, so it's not a Gray Ghost. I missed it, sorry. Greg-Z (talk) 15:07, 13 August 2014 (EDT)

Espion

Sorry, I was late to answer. I see that the problem was successfully solved without me. Greg-Z (talk) 03:15, 18 August 2014 (EDT)

Producer category

I don't really think a Producer category is necessary. --Funkychinaman (talk) 17:23, 21 August 2014 (EDT)

Thumbnail size

Please don't change thumbnail size like you had done in Gang War in Naples. First, the thumbnail size for handguns is preferrably 300 px, not 350. Second, 600 px thumbnails are used only for "widescreen" screencaps, while "full screen" screenshots are 500 px, according to IMFDB Style Guide. Greg-Z (talk) 11:52, 28 August 2014 (EDT)

Aspect ratios

It all depends on aspect ratios. Per the Style Guide, "Thumbnails of "full-screen" (4x3 ratio) screencaps should be set at 500 pixels, thumbnails for "widescreen" screencaps (1.66:1, 16:9, 1:85:1, 2.35:1) screencaps should be set to 600 pixels. Lower quality screencaps, from unrestored films, VHS copies or those filmed in 16mm may have thumbnails set to 400px." Here's the link we had illustrating the most popular aspect ratios. --Funkychinaman (talk) 15:33, 28 August 2014 (EDT)

550px is not acceptable. It wasn't acceptable last December, when I told you above, and it wasn't in March, when I brought it up again. Aspect ratio is not hard to figure out. --Funkychinaman (talk) 01:27, 29 August 2014 (EDT)
Please follow the rules and don't invent your own rules. Greg-Z (talk) 02:02, 29 August 2014 (EDT) Oh dear - it was only proposal, to satisfy the contradiction between Funky and Greg :) Sorry ...--Pandolfini (talk) 08:54, 29 August 2014 (EDT)

Re: French hand grenades

Thanks, I know this site, it's a good source. I also recommend this site that contains a lot info about grenades and mines all over the world. Greg-Z (talk) 14:36, 4 September 2014 (EDT)

And again about renaming pages

You were told several times that your method of renaming pages is wrong. Greg-Z (talk) 03:09, 5 September 2014 (EDT)

It should be one of the tabs on top, near "Edit" and "History." --Funkychinaman (talk) 12:15, 5 September 2014 (EDT)

Re: Ho

Thanks, I see that your version has better quality. Greg-Z (talk) 10:11, 7 September 2014 (EDT)

Yes, some firearms are seen better on your version. I have this film only on DVD, it's a part of Delon Collection that I also used for other movies with Delon. Greg-Z (talk) 10:46, 7 September 2014 (EDT)

Divergent Pistol and Rifle

Please do not add "Divergent Pistol" or "Divergent Rifle" to any more actor pages because these do not appear to be based on any real firearm. -- Ben41 (talk) 05:15, 4 October 2014 (EDT)

Meg Tilly in Masquerade

Hello, Pandolfini! Are you planing to create article Masquerade with Meg Tilly as Olivia Lawrence. If you planing to do it, note, that she absolutelly can't holds Kimar Lady K in her hands, due this film was filmed at 1988, Kimar was estabilished at 1992. Pyramid Silent (talk) 14:06, 16 November 2014 (EST)

It's look like a Kimar. It can't be Kimar, but it's very similar, so, I don't know, what is it. Pyramid Silent (talk) 15:20, 20 November 2014 (EST)

Re: Mortar

The bipod is different from BM-37. I guess that it looks more like Minomet vz.52. Greg-Z (talk) 03:36, 16 February 2015 (EST)

Re: Hand grenade

I have a guess that the screen grenade represents R wz. 42, best known under the nickname Sidolówka, a homemade Polish resistance grenade (info, image, image, and image). Greg-Z (talk) 02:27, 23 February 2015 (EST)

Links to non-existing page

I see that you add links to non-existing page Julie Lescaut on numerous actor pages. It's not a good practice. If you plan to create a page for this TV series, first make it and only then add info on actor pages. If not, than it's even more bad practice. Greg-Z (talk) 17:01, 23 February 2015 (EST)

Julie Lescaut

Sorry, no idea about this revolver. It looks Colt-style but it's not a Cobra or a Detective Special as it has different front sight. It bears some resemblance with Colt Lawman MK III but still differs. Greg-Z (talk) 02:40, 24 February 2015 (EST)

I need you help

Hello, Pandolfini! I need you help: did you watch TV-series With Fire and Sword (Ogniem i mieczem)? If you watch it, may you answer, who is this man? I watch it, but I cant find his name. Pyramid Silent (talk) 07:35, 20 March 2015 (EDT)

Crossfire

It's probably a good idea to refer to the suggested corrections made on the discussion page before creating actor pages with error on them. --Funkychinaman (talk) 11:37, 1 May 2015 (EDT)

She had an unidentifiable weapon in OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies, but that's not what I was referring to. There were suggested corrections for Zabou Breitman and Aïssa Maïga on the discussion page. --Funkychinaman (talk) 12:14, 1 May 2015 (EDT)
I would not, especially since we don't have a good picture either. --Funkychinaman (talk) 12:34, 1 May 2015 (EDT)
Take a look at my page for 36th Precinct. I have a feeling they used the same armorer. --Funkychinaman (talk) 15:15, 1 May 2015 (EDT)

The pistol

As far as I can see the logo, it's a Taurus. Maybe it's one of a family of Taurus 24/7? Greg-Z (talk) 03:02, 5 May 2015 (EDT)

That pistol is an original 24/7 (pictures showing the left side). These have been discontinued by Taurus and replaced with the current G2 models (these are the only ones listed on the Taurus site). --commando552 (talk) 06:58, 5 May 2015 (EDT)

Re:Unidentified revolver

Sorry, I cannot identify this revolver. It lacks a visible cylinder release so it's hardly a Colt or an S&W. Greg-Z (talk) 08:04, 28 May 2015 (EDT)

Enemy

Are you actually going to finish this page? I'm not a fan of first day incompletes. --Funkychinaman (talk) 13:24, 2 July 2015 (EDT)

Please don't say you're going to pirate it, because that's illegal. I'm just going to stow it away until you're ready. --Funkychinaman (talk) 15:53, 2 July 2015 (EDT)
Even more reason to not do it then. Look, there's so many other films you can be doing that have been legally released. --Funkychinaman (talk) 16:11, 2 July 2015 (EDT)
Unless it's something huge like a Marvel film or a James Bond movie, you can't assume someone else will do the work. When in doubt, do it yourself. --Funkychinaman (talk) 16:25, 2 July 2015 (EDT)

Five Gates to Hell

Are you going to finish this page? --Funkychinaman (talk) 16:57, 23 July 2015 (EDT)

Aazaan at least started out as an upcoming. You're starting this page as an incomplete from the get-go. (And if Aazaan isn't finished soon, it will be archived as well.) --Funkychinaman (talk) 17:22, 23 July 2015 (EDT)
If you are still working on a page then you should add the WIP (Work In Progress) tag at the top to let people know. The incomplete tag is only for pages that nobody is currently working on that are missing stuff. --commando552 (talk) 17:24, 23 July 2015 (EDT)
If you're going to keep working on it, then fine. But no first-day incompletes. Those will be deleted. --Funkychinaman (talk) 08:16, 24 July 2015 (EDT)
I'm having trouble understanding what you are trying to say. Are you saying that you do not actually own this film? If so, you should not be creating pages that you will not be able to finish. You cannot create a massively incomplete page and expect that somebody else will finish it for you. Why would you create an incomplete page like this anyway, is there a particular reason like it is about to be re-released or something? --commando552 (talk) 11:35, 24 July 2015 (EDT)
So in other words you have no ability to actually do this page, but you started it anyway in the hopes that somebody else would do it for you. That isn't how we do things here. If you cannot complete a page (or at least make it a hell of a lot more complete than this) then you should not start it, it is not up to you to try and force others to do your bidding. Also, by the way that site you linked to showing that Germans can buy Enemy, they ship to the Czech Republic so what is stopping you from doing it yourself if you really want a page for it so much? --commando552 (talk) 13:23, 24 July 2015 (EDT)
Collaborative editing is one thing, that's the heart of any wiki, but we're talking about asking a stranger to devote at least two hours of his or her time to watch an obscure, out of print film that YOU liked. I would never ask you or anyone else to do such a thing because it's simply unreasonable. --Funkychinaman (talk) 16:52, 24 July 2015 (EDT)

Thumnail size

The proper size of weapon thumbnails is 300px for handguns and 400px for long guns. Not 350, not 450, not 500. We told you about it many times. Please follow the rules. Greg-Z (talk) 13:11, 16 August 2015 (EDT)

I put this question on Admins discussion to add it to the rules. If your point of view would be taken, then I'll make no objections. Greg-Z (talk) 08:19, 17 August 2015 (EDT)
The question is now a subject of Admins discussion. When a decision would be made, the rule would be added to Style Guide. Greg-Z (talk) 07:26, 18 August 2015 (EDT)

Wild Target

Thanks for better screenshots in Wild Target. Can you add a screenshot where henchman Barnabe fires a Desert Eagle in parking? In my copy of the movie this scene was seen too poor. Greg-Z (talk) 15:38, 29 August 2015 (EDT)

US Poster and spelling title

Please remember to check the spelling of your movie before you finish the page. The movie is called Cries in the Dark. Also please use US cover or poster. --Ben41 (talk) 14:08, 7 September 2015 (EDT)

Re:Homefront

The M16-style looks like customized M4A1 Carbine, fitted with a holographic sight and a foregrip. The barrel seems a little too long for M4, so maybe it's a converted Colt Law Enforcement Carbine. Compare these two rifles with the screen gun:

Colt M4A1 with 6 position collapsible stock - 5.56x45mm. Note slight difference in shape of stock compared to older model M4 (above).
Colt Law Enforcement Carbine - 5.56x45mm.

Sorry, I have no idea about the sniper rifle. Greg-Z (talk) 05:25, 3 October 2015 (EDT)

Glock 22 Image

What is the difference between the new image of Glock 22 that you have uploaded and the previous one? Your image looks just the same except it has a little less size. Was there any need of replacing the existing image with a new one? Greg-Z (talk) 07:20, 3 October 2015 (EDT)

OK, understood. Thanks. Greg-Z (talk) 12:59, 3 October 2015 (EDT)

3 Days to Kill

Sorry, I cannot help. I have already looked at this page and tried to make any guess but these guns are too mysterious for me. Greg-Z (talk) 13:20, 3 October 2015 (EDT)

Everybody Dies‎ revolver

Sorry, I cannot say. I tried to identify the logo but it doesn't match any gun maker that I know. Greg-Z (talk) 12:26, 12 October 2015 (EDT)

Resembles a compact Colt-style pistol, like some version of Colt Mustang, Para-Ordnance Carry, or Springfield Armory Ultra Compact. Cannot say for sure. Greg-Z (talk) 12:37, 12 October 2015 (EDT)

Please don't forget to sign your posts. Greg-Z (talk) 13:25, 12 October 2015 (EDT)

Colt Pocket Nine seems a good guess. Greg-Z (talk) 14:07, 12 October 2015 (EDT)
I know very little about the history of Pocket Nine. It resembles the family of Colt Mustang but I cannot say for sure if it's really a relative. You would better ask another person who knows more about this pistol. Maybe Commando552 or JCordell could tell more. Greg-Z (talk) 02:52, 13 October 2015 (EDT)

Actor IDs

This is the second time in two days users have caught you misidentifying actors. These can be avoided by using IMDB, which has photos of most actors, and you can also use Google image search to verify your actor IDs. --Funkychinaman (talk) 11:27, 13 October 2015 (EDT)

I'm not sure I get the first part. But you mis-identified the actors in Everybody Dies, and the screencap of David Bark-Jones is not actually David Bark-Jones. You also have to change the title of Everybody Dies. Please see the discussion page. --Funkychinaman (talk) 14:07, 13 October 2015 (EDT)
Except that the actor here...

...is clearly this guy and not this guy. --Funkychinaman (talk) 15:16, 13 October 2015 (EDT)

Okay, that's a fair point. But as you can see, it's easy to verify. --Funkychinaman (talk) 15:29, 13 October 2015 (EDT)

Farewell Friend

Thanks for adding of Gevarm SMG. I missed it somehow while making screenshots. Greg-Z (talk) 16:41, 15 November 2015 (EST)

Re: Unidentified revolver

It appears to be a top break revolver. A rib over the barrel is shorter than the barrel which is often seen on Smith & Wesson revolvers and Spanish clones of S&Ws. But I cannot identify the exact version, sorry. Greg-Z (talk) 10:19, 18 March 2016 (EDT)

Murder in the First

Please indicate what episode the images for Murder in the First are from. --Ben41 (talk) 01:06, 25 October 2016 (EDT)

Rakka

Sorry, but per Rules, Standards and Principles, Short films do not qualify for inclusion, only features --Ben41 (talk) 16:43, 24 November 2017 (EST)

Rakka

The rules are pretty explicit: "Short films do not qualify for inclusion, only features". DVD or not, it's still a short film. --Funkychinaman (talk) 13:12, 25 November 2017 (EST)

Images from Chvíle

It's a pity to loose the good and interesting images from Chvíle. I would suggest to add the screenshots with Jirí Bartoska and Renáta Doleželová on actor pages (or actor talk pages), just for reference. --Greg-Z (talk) 05:01, 9 December 2020 (EST)

The Bridge (Bron)

Can you tell me which screencaps are from what episode/season? I saw you had uploaded the screencaps on the SIG-Sauer P226 entry that's why I'm asking. Most of those guns are P225s, but the one Saga is holding in the second screencap and in those caps with the policeman in the bathrooom thats a P226R (probably a greengas airsoft variant), the female officer in the second to last screencap is holding an older P226 (which is probably a springpowered airsoft variant), and in the last one Saga is holding a P229R (also most likely a greengas airsoft version). Was thinking about fixing that but I haven't actually seen the show or have access to it so that makes it harder editing, especially regarding continuity errors etc. --Thejoker
