So instead of having doing as you're doing right now with pistols, you could instead upload one screenshot showing the character drop out the magazine, and then another afterwards showing the character insert the magazine. I would also recommend that instead of always writing "the player character does X" instead write something more descriptive, such as "inserting a magazine" or " racking the slide" Something that's actually a proper description of what's going on, leaving out the "the player character"--[[User:AnActualAK47|AnActualAK47]] ([[User talk:AnActualAK47|talk]]) 11:38, 31 August 2016 (EDT)

Far Cry 4

I have 1500 1920x1080 max quality PC screencaps I'm currently converting from bitmap to jpeg so I can get them uploaded, and I have a lot of checking to do as well. It's locked so nobody wastes time uploading images to a page that's technically already finished after I've had a quick nap and get back to it.

Also, please don't rely on machine translation for conversational English, I could barely understand that. Evil Tim (talk) 05:25, 21 November 2014 (EST)

Payday 2

You're going a little high with the number of images for some of these, 18 images for things like the Springfield and Glock is too many. Evil Tim (talk) 03:54, 16 December 2014 (EST)

But you don't need that many images: you have four of inventory screens and four reloads of which you need a grand total of one each, and you don't need to do everything again with akimbo since the gun model is identical (in fact you only need one shot of akimbo or non-akimbo holding, since most people can imagine what holding two or one of it would look like without you showing them). You could probably get it down to about eight shots if you used a different variant for each shot rather than using the default for all of them and then inventory images for the variants. You don't need melee attacks either, the screenshot limit is more important that showing what using the wrong end of the gun looks like.
Being comprehensive isn't the same as being inefficient. Evil Tim (talk) 19:07, 16 December 2014 (EST)

Ghost Warrior 2 M45

For what reason was it removed from the page and the screencap marked for deletion? It's prominently featured as one of the first things you see when starting the game and it's identifiable. I'm at a loss for why you think it doesn't qualify. Spartan198 (talk) 21:21, 21 December 2014 (EST)

That's not a rule at all. If the weapon is in the game it goes on the page, regardless of where it is in the game. That pistol is literally there as soon as you boot up the game, do you think people aren't going to want to know if it's a real gun? Evil Tim (talk) 06:13, 22 December 2014 (EST)

GTA IV talk page edits

Don't delete other people's comments from talk pages. Evil Tim (talk) 07:31, 7 February 2015 (EST)

GTA IV

Most of the images there are perfectly acceptable, and while I understand you don't speak English well, copy-paste captions are not a good replacement for informative ones and do not improve a page. I'll go back through it later and see which of your images can be re-added. Also, third-person games do not have separate in-world and player models because the guns are always in the world. ZombiU

Rather than delete the original WiiU screenshots, I think you should have them there to compare. It'd be weird to use the original WiiU name but not have any WiiU screenshots. --Funkychinaman (talk) 12:18, 3 September 2015 (EDT)

R6 Siege

If it's in the beta, it can be included on the page. It should just be noted that if it doesn't make it into the final game. --Funkychinaman (talk) 17:58, 3 December 2015 (EST)

Alright, just put it in the discussion page for now. Thanks. --Funkychinaman (talk) 18:43, 3 December 2015 (EST)
Alright, nevermind then. --Funkychinaman (talk) 18:45, 3 December 2015 (EST)

Just Cause 2

I've told you before that you are not improving an article when you remove almost all of the actual information in it. Do not replace images that have actual captions with copy-paste ones. Evil Tim (talk) 04:01, 14 December 2015 (EST)

Do you really think it's an improvement to swap a bunch of cutscene closeups to a bunch of zoomed-out images of you staring at nothing that are virtually impossible to write captions for? Evil Tim (talk) 04:25, 14 December 2015 (EST)
No, it's not better. And I really don't think the majority of this site's users are non-English speakers. Evil Tim (talk) 04:33, 14 December 2015 (EST)
It's not international, it's American, and the site is supposed to be primarily for English speakers. Captions that explain things about how the weapon is depicted are better than those that don't (for example, none of your images show that the Desert Eagle's slide does not move when it fires, or that it ejects casings that are the wrong size: both of these are points of interest). Just having images does nothing but show the weapon is indeed in the game.
I'm aware English isn't your first language, but when you find something with a long caption like that, could you at least try to replace it with a similar image? Some of the ones already there are the same full-HD size as your replacements anyway, so I don't really see why you felt you needed to get rid of them since they show things yours don't. Evil Tim (talk) 04:41, 14 December 2015 (EST)
Also please stop trying to give me orders, this doesn't work like that. Evil Tim (talk) 04:43, 14 December 2015 (EST)
Yes, that's acceptable. Evil Tim (talk) 04:48, 14 December 2015 (EST)
Yes, we only have pages for 2 and 3. Looks like nobody ever made one. Evil Tim (talk) 04:54, 14 December 2015 (EST)

Additional Firearms

Hello. I am KINKI'boy. I saw your edit several times. I have a be a little anxious. I do not mind to you add the image of small arms, but you ought to add information to the individual Firearms page.

I want you to make sure when adding information. Sa. Vz.64 Skorpion used ammo is .380 ACP. Also, Skorpion to come out in Warface isn't Vz64, That's Vz83. Wikia page --KINKI'boy (talk) 14:18, 10 February 2016 (EST)

Karma Online

I understand that the server are now gone, but were you able to complete the page prior to shutdown? --Funkychinaman (talk) 11:43, 18 July 2016 (EDT)

About screenshots of reload animations...

I've noticed that you're screenshots of reload animations from games (especially when it comes to pistols) are somewhat... questionable. I would advise that instead of uploading two screenshots of different stages in the reload animation (as you seem to do a lot with pistols, one screenshot of the gun with the slide in battery, one with the slide locked back) you add screens that are just from one reload animation (preferably the full one) that show all the stages from that.

So instead of having doing as you're doing right now with pistols, you could instead upload one screenshot showing the character drop out the magazine, and then another afterwards showing the character insert the magazine. I would also recommend that instead of always writing "the player character does X" instead write something more descriptive, such as "inserting a magazine" or " racking the slide" Something that's actually a proper description of what's going on, leaving out the "the player character"--AnActualAK47 (talk) 11:38, 31 August 2016 (EDT)
