Handguns

Ruger Single Six

During the opening sequence (which is a parody of Raiders of the Lost Ark), an unnamed villain tried to draw a Ruger Single Six revolver.

Early Ruger Single Six (known as the "old Model") - .22LR

The unnamed villain draws his Single-Six on George.

The unnamed villain's arm (having miraculously been cut off by a whip) lies on the ground and clutches his Single-Six.

Colt Gold Cup National Match

The "action movie villain" makes one last attempt to kill the Rambo-spoofing George with a Colt Gold Cup National Match.

Ruger Service Six

One of Fletcher's thugs carries a Ruger Service Six.

One of Fletcher's goons aims his Service Six.

Smith & Wesson Model 681

One of Fletcher's goons carries a Smith & Wesson Model 681 with rubber Pachmayr grips. Also, during the Gandhi II trailer, a street thug is seen with a Model 681, likely the same weapon.

Submachine Guns

Heckler & Koch MP5A3

During the Gandhi II trailer, Gandhi (Jay Levey) is seen using a H&K MP5A3.

Assault Rifles

Norinco Type 56

During the Rambo parody near the end of the movie, George ("Weird Al" Yankovic) imagines a stereotypical action-movie villain who shoots at him with a Norinco Type 56.

In a parody of a scene from Rambo: First Blood Part II, an enemy officer opens fire on George with the Norinco rifle.

Note the hooded front sight of the rifle as the enemy officer opens fire.

Even at the ridiculously close range, the officer cannot hit his target. This is in reference to Rambo: First Blood Part II, when the Vietnamese officer wasted numerous rounds with his rifle and couldn't hit Rambo.

AK Variants

A group of soldiers armed with Kalashnikov rifles are seen near the end of the Rambo parody. As we are never given anything other than a long distance view of the weapons, it is impossible to determine if they are genuine AK-47s or AK clones.

Maadi ARM - most of the AKMs seen in movies during the 1980s were imported ARMs that were legally converted to full auto fire. This image is of an actual movie gun. The laminated buttstock was replaced with a hardwood one when the original stock was broken during a stunt. This example is also loaded with a 30-round bakelite plastic magazine - 7.62x39mm

Machine Guns

Browning M2

Two Browning M2 machine guns can be seen during the Rambo parody, the first mounted on a jeep, the second behind a barricade.

The M2 is seen on the Jeep.

M60 Machine Gun

During the Rambo parody, George ("Weird Al" Yankovic) uses an early model M60 machine gun (Rambo's iconic weapon from First Blood). The muzzle flashes were obviously added post-production, as he uses it without any sort of ammunition.
