Totally Accurate Battlegrounds (TABG) is a free-to-play battle royale first-person shooter video game developed by Swedish studio Landfall Games and a spin-off of the real-time strategy game Totally Accurate Battle Simulator (TABS). Like its predecessor, TABG parodies a popular video game genre, in this case the battle royale genre.

TABG's signature offering is "whacky" Unity engine physics that affects the player, environment, and firearms. Other than that, the TABG plays similarly to other battle royale games, with players either playing solo or squads, looting after the drop, killing enemy players, and making it to the final zone. Instead of gas or fire, pillars slowly close in, creating a wall in the final zone.

Like PUBG, TABG permits players to customize their guns with attachments ranging from standard sights to double barrels that can be put on any firearm, but is restricted up to three atachments. The list of attachments includes:

  • Red Dot
  • 2x Scope
  • 4x Scope
  • 8x Scope
  • Muzzle Brake
  • Suppressor
  • Compensator
  • Damage Analyzer
  • Health Analyzer
  • Heavy Barrel
  • Fast Barrel
  • Double Barrel

The following weapons appear in the video game Totally Accurate Battlegrounds:

Handguns

TABG has pistols split into two sections: Handguns and Machine Pistols, all of which can be dual-wielded by the player, sacrificing the ability to aim down sights for double the firepower. Each handgun can be customized separately.

Handguns

Desert Eagle Mark XIX

One of the stronger secondary weapons the player can access is a Desert Eagle Mark XIX.

Magnum Research Desert Eagle Mark XIX - .44 Magnum

Flintlock

A generic Flintlock pistol is available as a secondary weapon. Like the musket, the player must find a separate ammo box on the ground to use these two weapons.

British Heavy Dragoon Pistol - .62 caliber

Luger P08

The iconic Luger P08 can be operated by the player. If the player equips the heavy barrel attachment, the pistol transforms into the "whacky" Luger LP08 "Artillery" model.

Luger P08 with black grips - 9x19mm
Luger LP08 "Artillery" model - 9x19mm

M1911-Style Pistol

The player can loot an M1911 on the ground. Due to the "whacky" art style, it is hard to determine which version of the M1911 is featured.

Original Colt M1911 (dated 1913) - .45 ACP

Colt Python

The Colt Python appears under the generic "Revolver" name.

Colt Python with 6" Barrel - .357 Magnum

Machine Pistols

Berretta 93R

A Beretta 93R is one of the three machine pistols that can be found in the game.

Beretta 93R - 9x19mm

Glock 18C

A Glock 18C can be found on the ground by the player, and it is the fastest firing machine pistol in the game with the ability to dual-wield and fully customize. Like with other guns on this list, the "whacky" art direction gives it a degree of stylization. There is also a "Glockinator," where two Glock 18C are weld together, and player uses a red dot in the middle to aim them.

Glock 18 (2nd Generation) with extended 31-round magazine - 9x19mm

Intratec TEC-9

A full-auto converted TEC-9 can be found, but due to the "whacky" art style it is hard to identify the exact variant of the TEC-9.

Intratec TEC-9 (post-1987 version) - 9x19mm

Submachine Guns

M1A1 Thompson

The M1A1 Thompson is available for the player to find on the ground.

The compact MP5K is available to the contestants and can be found on the ground upon landing.

Heckler & Koch MP5K - version with SEF Plastic Trigger Pack - 9x19mm

P90

The P90 can be found on the ground by players, standing out from the rest with its distinctive 50-round magazine. With a heavy barrel attachment, the player can turn the P90 into a "whacky" fully automatic FN PS90 TR, the carbine version of the P90.

FN P90 - 5.7x28mm FN
FN PS90 TR - FN 5.7x28mm

PPSH-41

The iconic Soviet PPSh-41 is available to the players and is depicted as only using the stick magazine. The "whacky" art style can fool players into thinking the variant depicted is the German 9x19mm converted MP 41(r) (Maschinenpistole 41(r)), but that is not the case.

PPSh-41 - 7.62x25mm Tokarev

TDI Vector

One of the fastest firing submachine guns in TABG is the TDI Vector, modeled after the first prototype.

Prototype TDI Vector - .45 ACP

UMP45

The UMP45 is the jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none submachine guns available to the player. The player can turn the UMP45 into a "whacky" full-auto Heckler & Koch USC Tactical Match Rifle with the heavy barrel attachment.

Heckler & Koch UMP45 - .45 ACP

Shotguns

AA-12

The only full-auto shotgun in the game, the AA-12 comes with the standard box magazine, missing its drum.

MPS Auto Assault-12 - 12 gauge

Blunderbuss

The Blunderbuss is one of the shotguns available to the player in TABG, having one of the highest damage/recoil stats in the game, which can be doubled by using the double-barrel attachment.

Blunderbuss Flintlock

Double-Barreled Shotgun

A double-barreled shotgun with exposed hammers, possibly modeled after the Colt Model 1878, can be turned into a quad-barrel shotgun with the Double Barrel attachment.

Colt Model 1878 - 12 Gauge

Mossberg 500

The Mossberg 500 appears in TABG as the reliable and consistent workhorse of the shotguns. It is depicted with a spare shell holder on the side of the reciever.

Mossberg 500 "Persuader" with standard five-shot magazine tube - 12 gauge. This is the most commonly produced version of the 500 series today.

Rainmaker

Winchester Model 1887

Known as the "Arnold", the Winchester Model 1887 is based on the modified, shortened Model 1887 made famous by Terminator 2: Judgement Day.

The sawed-off Winchester 1887 with large-lever loop used by Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator 2: Judgement Day - 10 gauge

Rifles

Hybrid AK Rifle

Due to the "whacky" art style, the Kalashnikov rifle seems to be a mix of AK-47 and AKM parts. Overall, it is a well-rounded, reliable weapon.

Type 1 AK-47 with slab sided magazine - 7.62x39mm
AKM - 7.62x39mm

AKS-74U

The more compact member of the Kalashnikov family, the AKS-74U, is available to players in TABG. It retains all the aspects of the Hybrid AK rifle but being significantly more compact.

AKS-74U - 5.45x39mm

AUG A1

One of two bullpups available in TABG, the Steyr AUG A1 is the first version of the famous Austrian rifle family.

The iconic US infantry rifle of WW2, the M1 Garand, is a part of the TABG weapon sandbox.

M1 Garand with leather M1917 sling - .30-06

Kar98K

Another WW2 weapon in the TABG, the Kar98k is available on the ground. Hard-hitting and reliable as its real-life counterpart.

Karabiner 98k - 7.92x57mm Mauser. Manufactured in Germany, 1937.

M14

The successor to M1 Garand, the M14, is available for players to find on the ground, behaving the same as it's WW2 predecessor.

Springfield Armory M1A with synthetic stock - 7.62x51mm

M16A1/A2

The M16 depicted in the TABG is a mix of two variants, the M16A1 receiver but with the three-round burst capability of the M16A2.

Colt M16A1 with 30 round magazine - 5.56x45mm
Colt Government Model HBAR, the A2 version of the AR-15 Civilian Rifle - 5.56x45mm (note the lack of a third position for burst mode for the selector switch)

StG-44

Another iconic WW2 firearm, the STG44 or Sturmgewehr 44, is available in the TABG arsenal. However, it is to be noted that STG-44 is the slowest-firing rifle in the game.

Sturmgewehr 44 - 7.92x33mm Kurz

S7

The S7 is a burst rifle and seems to be a blend of several firearms:

1. The stylized collapsible stock of the M4

Colt M4 Carbine with 4 position collapsible stock - 5.56x45mm

2. The magazine and round-feeding operation of the Kriss TDI Vector

KRISS USA Vector Gen I, later model with different safety - .45 ACP

FN SCAR-H

The FN SCAR-H is available to the players on the ground upon landing in the TABG.

Third Generation FN SCAR-H STD - 7.62x51mm NATO

Winchester Model 1886

The only lever action in the game, the Winchester Model 1886, pays tribute to the Wild West Era.

Winchester 1886

Sniper Rifles

Accuracy International Arctic Warfare

One of the three sniper rifles available to the player in the game, the Accuracy International Arctic Warfare is the standard bolt-action option.

Accuracy International AW - 7.62x51mm NATO

Barrett M82

Like many other first-person shooters, the Barrett is the game's highest damage-dealing semi-automatic sniper rifle. The gun is modeled after the M82 model. A scaled-up version with bigger damage and recoil is known as "Really Big Barrett".

Barrett M82A1 - .50 BMG

VSS

The VSS or VSS Vintorez (Vintovka Snayperskaya Spetsialnaya), is the only integrally suppressed sniper rifle available in the game. And while it lacks damage compared to Barret or AW, it compensates with the fast rate of fire (fully-automatic) and integral suppression.

VSS Vintorez with PSO-1 scope - 9x39mm

Machine Guns

MG42

The famous German MG42 makes an appearance in the game, where it (appropriately) has the highest fire rate among all machine guns.

MG42 - 7.92x57mm Mauser

M1918A2 BAR

The M1918A2 BAR is the jack-of-all trades, master-of-none machine gun in the TABG arsenal.

M1918A2 Browning Automatic Rifle - .30-06

Browning M2HB

The heavy-hitting Browning M2HB appears in the TABG, being the heaviest in the class with the most damage as it is chambered in .50 BMG. Hilariously, it is depicted in a pintle-mounted configuration with no provisions to make it "man-portable".

Browning M2HB - .50 BMG

Launchers

Cannon

MGL

The Milkor MGL or just "MGL" is the only grenade launcher available in the game. Due to the "whacky" art style, it is hard to determine which variant was used as the base.

Milkor MGL Mk 1S in desert tan finish fitted with Armson OEG reflex sight - 40x46mm

Missile Launcher

The "Missile Launcher" is a scaled-down and futuristic looking M202 FLASH available in TABG sandbox. Compared to its real-life counterpart its fully automatic and hold seven rockets instead of four.

M202A1 FLASH - 66mm

Other

Crossbow

Several types of crossbows are available in the TABG, each with varied utility.

Minigun

The Minigun present in TABG is another Easter Egg to the Terminator 2, Judgment Day movie, as it is modeled after the prop gun used in the movie. However, the number of barrels can be doubled to 12 barrels, providing players with such an amount of recoil that, if used correctly, it can be used to fly around the arena.

Airsoft handheld M134 Minigun with 'Chainsaw grip' to handle the recoil force. This variant was seen in Terminator 2: Judgment Day. This is an airsoft version that retains the half-circle attachment point for the M60 foregrip from Predator; the real T2 minigun did not have this - (fake) 7.62x51mm NATO

Musket

Like flintlock pistol, the Flintlock Musket, requires special "musket" ammunition found on the ground in TABG. It shares all the aspects of the FP, but with a better range.

Modern reproduction of 17th Century English Doglock muskets.

Taser

One of the few utility tools in the TABG arsenal, The Taser only paralyzes the enemy/teammates, providing the shooter with a tactical opportunity. The Taser itself seems to be modeled after the Advanced M26.

The Advanced Taser M26, loaded with a 25' range "Extra Penetration" cartridge (indicated by the green blast doors, and normally used to pierce thicker clothing such as that worn in colder environments). The integral laser sight is just below the muzzle, with the emitter in line with the lower edge of the trigger guard.
