Anthony "Tony" Burton (1937–2016) was an American actor and former professional boxer who perhaps is best known for his role as Tony "Duke" Evers, the trainer of boxer Apollo Creed in the Rocky film series. Burton is one of only three actors (including Sylvester Stallone and Burt Young) to have had starring roles in the first six films of the series. He passed away at the age of 78 in February of 2016.
