The Third Planet (Russian title: Третья планета, Tretya planeta) is a 1991 Soviet science fiction movie. Alyona, the fifteen-year-old daughter of Anton, who suffers from a serious and incurable disease, is once again discharged without improvement now from a foreign clinic. Anton decides to return home and try his luck in the "Zone" - a place where an atomic catastrophe happened many years ago. Now, according to rumors and magazine publications, there live a group of hermits-healers. Anton and Alyona pass through the spaces infected with radiation and get to the oasis closed from the whole world, a small settlement of hermits. However, they still do not know how everything will eventually turn out.

The following weapons were used in the film The Third Planet (Tretya planeta):

Revolvers

Astra Police

Anton buys an FN Barracuda revolver from a gun shop at the beginning of the film. This particular version is named in the film "Astra Police", which also evidenced by the characteristic grips with logo. The gun itself is bought without any license whatsoever, which is absolute fiction, and is apparently a direct reference to similar acts in many action films (which in real life would be commonplace for the black market, but not for an official store). Another obvious cinema stereotype is that the revolver is sold without any spare ammunition. It is subsequently used by Alyona and Anton.

The Atis R.G. 700 shotgun can be seen in the gun shop, unmistakably identifiable by the unique shape of the forend (the Valtro R05 is also a possible ID, but the Atis is much more possible for that time).

Gun Shop

One scene in the film that requires its own section is the gun shop, where an entire bunch of weapons can be seen. Handguns are listed here to save space. Almost all of them are target versions and were clearly provided by some sport community.

Smith & Wesson Model 68 w/ 6" barrel
