The State Border (1980-1988). DVD cover

The State Border: Film 4 (Russian Title:Gosudarstvennaya granitsa: Krasny pesok/Государственная граница: Красный песок) is a 1984 Soviet television film directed by Boris Stepanov. "The State border" are the historical-adventure television series about the Soviet border guards. The action takes place in the period from 1917 to late 1980 on the territory of the USSR from the Far East to the western borders. The fourth film story takes place in 1931 on Turkestan (Central Asian ). Border guards are fighting against the Basmachi gang (Middle Asian Muslim rebels).
