The Mechanic (2011)

The Mechanic is an upcoming 2011 remake of the 1972 Charles Bronson thriller. The film stars Jason Statham and Ben Foster and was directed by Simon West (Con Air). All images are from the trailer.

The following weapons were used in The Mechanic (2011):

Handguns

SIG-Sauer P226

A SIG-Sauer P226 is seen being pulled by Steve McKenna (Ben Foster).

A factory black (K-Kote) SIG-Sauer P226 pistol chambered in 9x19mm. This is a real movie gun and has appeared in several motion pictures.

Steve McKenna (Ben Foster) pulls the SIG.

McKenna fires the SIG, here it appears to be a non-gun.

A gunman points a P226 at McKenna.

Glock 17

Glock 17's are seen used by Arthur Bishop (Jason Statham) as well as by the men employed by Dean Sanderson (Tony Goldwyn).

Glock 17 Second Generation- 9x19mm.

Bishop uses the Glock.

A guard fires a Glock 17 with a stainless slide.

Colt MK IV Series 80

What appears to be an engraved stainless steel Colt MK IV Series 80 is also used by Steve. The gun has a latin phrase engraved on one side of the slide and its translation on the other. The translation as close as i recall is "Victory Loves Preparedness". It also is supposed to be 30 years old and is marked US Army Property.

Custom engraved nickel plated Colt MKIV Series 80 with pearl grips - .45 ACP. This is the screen used pistol for Robert De Niro playing Senator McLaughlin in the upcoming Robert Rodriguez film Machete (scheduled for release on September 3rd, 2010).

Beretta 92FS

A Beretta 92FS is seen being fired at Bishop and Steve as they rappel down a building.

FN P90

A FN P90 appears to be used by men employed by Dean Sanderson (Tony Goldwyn).

Heckler & Koch MP5K

Some of Sanderson's men are armed with the Heckler & Koch MP5K.

Heckler & Koch MP5K - version with SEF Plastic Trigger Pack - 9x19mm. This is a very well worn Motion picture weapon

Sanderson's hired killers leap from a van. The man on the left carries a FN P90, while the one on the right holds a MP5K.

Rifles

Valmet M76F

A Valmet M76F rifle is seen being fired by Arthur Bishop (Jason Statham).

FN F2000 Tactical

The FN F2000 Tactical assault rifle fitted with a Leupold CQ/T scope is seen being fired by Bishop. The Leupold scope seems to be fitted on backwards. Pretty embarrassing mistake for a world-class hitman.

Pistol Gripped Mossberg 500

A pistol gripped 500 series (noted by trigger guard and safety) with a saddle shell holder is also seen in a bag packed with guns.
