This was a film that told the side-story of the Fighting between the Huron and the Mohicans during the French and Indian War.

Director: Michael Mann Starring: Daniel-Day-Lewis, Madeleine Stow, Russell Means, Eric Schweig, Johdi May, Steven Waddington, and Wes Studi.

Flintlock Rifle

Flintlock Musket

The British and French soldiers both use Flintlock Rifles during the war. The Huron and the Mohicans use them as well. Most notably: Hawkeye/Nathaniel Poe (Daniel Day-Lewis), Magua (Wes Studi), Chingachgook (Russell Means), and Uncas (Eric Schweig).

Flintlock Pistol

All of the British officers, most notabley Maj. Duncan Heyward (Steven Waddington), use Flintlock Pistols as their sidearm. Cora Munro (Madeleine Stow) takes a Flintlock pistol from an officer when they are attacked and later uses it to defend her self against the Huron.

Mortar

French troops are seen firing Cannon Mortars as well as regular Cannons at the Fort.

Blunderbuss

A British soldier led by Maj. Duncan, is shown firing a Blunderbuss shotgun at the British. We fires the weapon into the air using it like a mortar.
