The Exterminator is a 1980 action film directed by James Glickenhaus. The story tells about John Eastland (Robert Ginty), a Vietnam veteran turned vigilante.

An original M16 is used by John Eastland (Robert Ginty) during the attack on Ghetto Ghouls clubhouse. It can be identified due to the 3-prong flash hider. In the opening scene that takes place in Vietnam US Army sodiers are also armed with M16s but they are not seen clear enough to identify the model.

Norinco Type 56

Norinco Type 56 assault rifles are seen in hands of Vietcong fighters in the opening scene.
