The Burrowers (2008)

The Burrowers is a 2008 direct to DVD horror film that is set in the Dakota Territories in 1879. A search party goes out into the wilderness to locate a group of pioneers. At first it is assumed that the settlers who disappeared were victims of Sioux raids, but as time progresses they discover the existence of subterranean carnivorous creatures known as "Burrowers". The must fight to survive against this horrific new threat.
