The Bride Wore Black (La Mariée était en noir) is a 1968 French drama directed by François Truffaut and based on the novel by Cornell Woolrich. Julie Kohler's (Jeanne Moreau) husband was killed during their wedding by an accident rifle shot, made by a drunk man, one of company of five friends. Now Julie seeks revenge.

Webley Bulldog-style Revolver

During the attempt to kill Delvaux (Daniel Boulanger) Julie Kohler (Jeanne Moreau) arms herself with a snub nose hammerless revolver that appears to be some version of Webley Bulldog.
