'''Black Battalion, The ''' (original: Cerný prapor) is Czech war movie. At airport is landing an aircraft, which returns home special passengers. They are former members of the Foreign Legion, who fought in Vietnam on the French side. At the Ramp expect relatives of former legionnaires, including one old women. She have a question for all about her son, whose name and photo is but unknown for anyone. Movie is then retrospectively back to Indochina, where private Vaclav Maly ([[Jan Mares]]) from Pilsen after a year service in Algeria comes along with other soldiers as reinforcements units deployed in a small fort. Soon after his arrival, newcomers involved in the first combat action. It ends, however, de facto, a fiasco, as the unit suffered in combat with the enemy to great losses, including  the fallen commander. In his place a new commander starts, german Wolf ([[Hannjo Hasse]]). This information is very interested Maly, because the SS Wolf on behalf of the war had a large share of Wenceslas murder some members of the family.
