Template:Duplicate

There are many others like it, but this one is mine. This article or image is a candidate for deletion, because one or more editors feel it is a duplicate of existing content at [[{{{1}}}]].

Use this template to mark an article or image for deletion on the basis of being a duplicate. Place the text {{Duplicate|}} at the top of the article, adding a link to the article or image it is a duplicate of after the |. For images, change the "image:" section of the link to "media:" to prevent the image being displayed in the template. The article will then be automatically added to the "Delete" category.

As a guideline, if the pages are not identical, use this template on the least complete version of a page. With images, check the "what links here" link in the sidebar, and tag the one that is linked to the least number of times. If the pages or images are identical, check the history tab, and place the template on the one that was started or uploaded most recently.
