---Leo's gun----  Robert Prosky's revolver is most likely a S&W model 27 or 28.  An n-frame .357mag. The mother of pearl stocks are just the mobsters attempt to make it look classy.

The mobster hits Frank in the back of the head with his M1 Carbine.
