Has this page been Abandoned as there has been no work on it for over a month? If I has I would like to flesh it out some even though I only have the film on VHS. I know that there are several firearms that haven't been covered and I would really love to document the loading of the Murcury cored .44 magnum rounds and how the filmmakers got it dangerously wrong.

:I don't know if I'd call it abandoned quite yet, but go for it. It's a wiki. --[[User:Funkychinaman|Funkychinaman]] 12:51, 6 April 2012 (CDT)

Ok, as I only have it on VHS I can't add screencaps but I can add what firearms I can identify and Hopefully add the times I see them so that whoever can screencap this film can find the firearms in question.

That M38 looks like a Carcano Carbine to me and I almost swear I see an opening on the magazine for the Mannlicher clip to drop out from, maybe a Romanian Mannlicher. As for the sniper rifle it looks like a straight bolt Mauser. I'm leaning toward a Spanish 93 or Chilean 95 in 7x57 or maybe a Swedish 96 in 6.5x55 that barrel seems too light for a 7.92 model. :Thanks! I think that the magazine of sniper carbine is too small for Carcano (that's why I thought it's a Mosin Nagant). But Romanian Mannlicher matches better. Maybe it's an [http://www.hungariae.com/man/Mann93.jpg M93 rifle] with shortened barrel, as [http://www.hungariae.com/man/Mann93c.jpg M93 carbine] has differently placed barrel band. As for a Mauser sniper rifle, I tend to Spanish, as all Swedish Mauser sporters that I could find in google have turned down bolt handle, while Spanish with straight bolts [http://www.armslist.com/posts/8727328/hattiesburg-mississippi-rifles-for-sale--7mm-spanish-mauser can be seen]. Abandoned

Ok, as I only have it on VHS I can't add screencaps but I can add what firearms I can identify and Hopefully add the times I see them so that whoever can screencap this film can find the firearms in question.

Bolt Rifles

That M38 looks like a Carcano Carbine to me and I almost swear I see an opening on the magazine for the Mannlicher clip to drop out from, maybe a Romanian Mannlicher. As for the sniper rifle it looks like a straight bolt Mauser. I'm leaning toward a Spanish 93 or Chilean 95 in 7x57 or maybe a Swedish 96 in 6.5x55 that barrel seems too light for a 7.92 model. Thanks! I think that the magazine of sniper carbine is too small for Carcano (that's why I thought it's a Mosin Nagant). But Romanian Mannlicher matches better. Maybe it's an M93 rifle with shortened barrel, as M93 carbine has differently placed barrel band. As for a Mauser sniper rifle, I tend to Spanish, as all Swedish Mauser sporters that I could find in google have turned down bolt handle, while Spanish with straight bolts can be seen.
