An unidentified revolver is among the guns, purchased by Tom Cody ([[Michael Paré]]) from Pete the Mechanic ([[John Dennis Johnston]]). Unlike two other Tom's guns, [[Marlin Model 336]] and [[Ithaca 37]], the revolver has only limited use. The bore looks too large even for .45 caliber. This together with the strange lack of the front sight allows to guess that it's a smoothbore gun, maybe in 12 gauge.

Unknown Revolver

An unidentified revolver is among the guns, purchased by Tom Cody (Michael Paré) from Pete the Mechanic (John Dennis Johnston). Unlike two other Tom's guns, Marlin Model 336 and Ithaca 37, the revolver has only limited use. The bore looks too large even for .45 caliber. This together with the strange lack of the front sight allows to guess that it's a smoothbore gun, maybe in 12 gauge.

Tom inspects the revolver.
He rotates the cylinder.
The large bore is seen. The revolver lacks front sight and has raised rear sight.
Tom's firearms: the revolver, Marlin Model 336 rifle and Ithaca 37 shotgun, all three in stainless or nickel finish.
The revolver is seen in holster.
Tom draws the revolver. It is seen out of focus but looks bright and glossy.
Another view of the same scene.
The raised rear sight and the shape of the frame resemble Arminius models but the barrel doesn't match any of them. Greg-Z (talk) 03:17, 16 December 2016 (EST)
