I think I've found it.  It appears to be a rare commercially available "after market" muzzle break.  The only mention I have found is on the forum which is linked below.  I'll do some more digging see to see if I can find some images. --[[User:Maskedweasel|Maskedweasel]] ([[User talk:Maskedweasel|talk]]) 08:44, 21 July 2014 (EDT)

Thompson muzzle attachment

The square attachment is clear in the screencaps, I was guessing a military blank firing attachment? Other films made in the UK made the time Went the day well which used the same weapons do not feature this attachment. Any ideas? --Maskedweasel (talk) 18:53, 17 July 2014 (EDT)
