Having worked with people who have worked with the production staff of this show, most of the above the line crew are elite, young, hip metrosexual British Film & TV people (under the age of 25) who have absolutely NO interest in firearms or the military.  They commonly ask for the WRONG gun specifically, they are disinterested in input from their tech advisers, they routinely have the wrong uniforms or gear (because they ASKED for it specifically), come up with laughable tactics and actions, and their props/costumes/weapons budget are minuscule.  To their credit, the BBC (who co-produced this series with Nat GEO) sacked a bunch of these morons at the end of the first season.  MPM
