Colt Carbine

Hence Bond's background in SBS, I feel inclined to believe it's Colt Canadian C8. But I'm not too sure, if anyone can help me identify it, please do. These are behind the scene and further promotional shots.

It’s not a C8 because it’s got the newer 5 position adjustable stock. The C8 (all the Colt Canada/Diemaco variants do) so it’s probably a short barrelled M4. Probably a 933. --cool-breeze (talk) 03:58, 12 October 2021 (EDT)

His background doesn't matter, the armorer is going to use what he has. Besides, Colt Canada doesn't sell to civilians including film armorers, so there's no actual way for such a weapon to be used in a film.--Mandolin (talk) 08:33, 12 October 2021 (EDT)

Considering that there is a bit of product placement in the film - it hasn't been officially confirmed, but I noticed a lot of Beretta weapons turning up, the use of a M4/C8-type weapon instead of something newer and "cooler" may be a narrative nod to Bond's British special forces background. --Markit (talk) 13:08, 12 October 2021 (EDT)
