What's up with the one with the extended guide rod?

Or whatever that is jutting out the bottom.

And why is it the only one like that? The other Mk1s on the page don't have them. That's One Angry Duck 19:24, 13 October 2011 (CDT)

Furthermore, why's the frame rusted all to hell? Spartan198 (talk) 08:54, 16 October 2012 (EDT)

This pistol has seen some shit you can't even begin to imagine, boys. But seriously, maybe it's either, A, got something to do with compensating for recoil (somehow) or B, broken. I'm leaning toward B.--That's the Way It's Done (talk) 19:07, 21 November 2017 (EST)

It is actually even stranger than you might think, as standard LAR Grizzly pistols do not even have a full length guide rod, all that should be at the front of the slide is the spring plunger. My guess is that this is some sort of kludge to get a full length guide rod (possibly this is the guide rod out of the 10" barrel guns) but whatever is going on here is not accidental or unique, here is another gun that looks exactly the same but in better condition. commando552 (talk) 19:32, 21 November 2017 (EST)

Do these bad boys come standard with Pachmayr grips? Fixer
