it may be just me, but it seems most of the older townspeople in the movie do a better job of firing their weapons than the younger ones, case in point being Mr. Treacher and the shopkeeper with the Steyr. I guess that proves the old adage, with age comes experience. :P -- K [[Special:Contributions/98.118.59.151|98.118.59.151]] 21:13, 24 August 2010 (UTC)

Revision as of 21:13, 24 August 2010

I just saw a commercial for the HD DVD release of Hot Fuzz and they showed a scene wherein a Catholic priest says "Stop this mindless violence!" and whips out two small-frame handguns hidden in the sleeves of his outfit. I was unable to identify them because the camera cut to the next scene in the commercial too quickly. Can anyone else ID these weapons and add them to the article? I've got a boatload of screenshots for Hot Fuzz I need to upload... pics of the pistols are in there, though I wasn't able to identify them... bunni 01:20, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

Snarky Commentary

I am removing snarky commentary from this page. If you're one of the folks who put in sarcastic insults to the actors .... tough titties. MoviePropMaster2008 02:28, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

Mossberg

In the Mossberg section, the gun in Andy's hand is NOT a Mossberg, it has a cross bolt safety, and is marked Squires Bingham, so not a Mossberg, idk what it is though, maybe someone else can help with that. Oh and Mary Porter's isn't either, the rear of the receiver has a slight hump. Looks like a Charles Daly.-RedJedRevolver 23:58, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

Annette Roper

The shop owner lady's name is Annette Roper, played by Patricia Franklin.

Fake Gun?

Since the air rifle used at the fete and the fake gun used by Eve Draper are included, can anyone else ID the fake gun used by Danny while watching Point Break?

LOL, that's his TV remote! -MT2008 12:49, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

Guns

you know, for a town in Britain (A country whose top three most hated things are the Irish, Indians and guns) that little town in the movie sure does have alot of firearms-S&Wshooter 01:15, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
Irish, immigrants and guns. Only the extreme right wing of the british goverment hates immigrants and the Irish however.-Oliveira 13:14, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
Sure they do. That totally explains the Troubles hahaha-S&Wshooter 03:56, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
I think the Troubles is much more easily blamed on the far-right Ulster Unionists than the British government. And in my experience, the Brits hate the Northern Irish Protestants (who claim to be British) almost as much as the Catholics. But anyway, this isn't the place for this discussion... -MT2008
I don't think the UDA or IRA are going to keep up there antics for much longer, thank god-S&Wshooter 04:02, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

if heckler and koch can send an 82 yr old a MP5 that lives in a small country town mistaking here for a police station anythings posable - scarecrow

Anyone notice maybe...

How Mr. Webleys name may be a reference to the british webley revolvers? thought crossed my mind. I know the name comes up a lot in the UK but y'know...something to think about.--ConditionNone 07:50, 6 December 2009 (UTC)

Re-organize

Hope you people don't mind if I re-organized it so it looks cleaner.--ThePotShot 21:00, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
