Vanishing Equipment

I think it is kinda funny how on this show stuff just changes. In Season 1 Longworth carries a very large Stainless Smith and Wesson 4506. When Season 2 starts there is no mention of the Smith... Now Longworth just happens to carry a SIG 220 in a Serpa. Another one is the Charger. In one scene the blue one is blown up and in the next Longworth already has a brand new unmarked Black Charger already geared up.

One thing I do applaud with this show is that they have gone out of their way to have Longworth carry something unique. He definitely carries a 220 in .45 as is shown in the episode Swamp Thing when he unloads 8 rounds, and drops the single stack mag.

I thought it was funny that every other member of the FDLE carries a Glock 17. Longworth gets a new gun, and it does not turn out to be a Glock. I like that Jim is carryihng a SIG instead of the quintessential Glock. This could be another example of Longworth showing his independence similar to him refusing to wear a uniform or anything other than a t-shirt and jeans. -Peejn8r

In the last picture of Longworth's 4506, the gun has changed from a 4506 with stainless trigger and hammer with a square trigger guard into a 4506-1 with blued hammer and trigger and rounded trigger guard.--Westernman1987 13:42, 16 April 2012 (CDT)
