Though it is POLITE not to mess with people's pages when they've done 99% of the work, it happens. Just keep in mind IF the changes are good (i.e. correct spellings, added pertinent details, better images, etc.) then don't take it personally. I know it's hard. But on the flip side, you also have the right to UNDO BS additions to your page, like erroneous identifications, sarcastic comments, or people removing information unnecessarily. The end result is to create a page that is not an exercise in self indulgence (unfortunately some of our members do just that), but is a nice, concise, and informative page on the film/show which showcases the weapons information, weapons trivia as it relates to the show, and 'some' movie/show trivia that is peripherally associated with the weapons trivia. Yeah, I've had to tell a lot of people to correct their pages...for precisely this reason. I don't want users on this site to think it's acceptable to use gun page links in the heading. -MT2008

In the episode where Agent Dunham is kidnapped and drugged, as she makes her escape, she grabs a pistol from one of the guards she defeats. I paused the video and stared at the image for a long time to try to ID it to no avail. Anyone got a screenshot of that?

Im pretty sure the pistol she takes in that episode is a Walther P99

Mainly because they don't do much in the show, it's hard to tell what they are because they are rarely seen and mocked up, AND nobody has pictures, so why bother with the segment. --ManiacallyChallenged 01:59, 3 January 2010 (UTC)

Sorry for the edit-storm, adding stuff and trying to fix a lot of my previous errors. I added a couple of new Glock 26 shots, and removed some of the worse ones(all the ones I took out were ones I took, so don't worry about it.) Also: created some actor pages, and am working on gun pages. Any input, or images of that suppressed Desert Eagle from S2 episode "August" would be sweet. why use a suppressed Desert Eagle? well in the world of the show, there are think that are hard to kill, Rex095

Think about it this way: Anna Torv carries a Glock 26, because a Glock 17 looks massive when she holds it. Likewise, the assassin was a gigantic dude, and anything less than a Desert Eagle would look like a pop-gun when he was holding it, or carrying it in his holster. I think most of season 1 HAS been screencapped. There really aren't a lot of firearms used in the show, mostly FBI glocks and the occasional exotic thing, and those have been cataloged.. Just make sure you don't replace shots or duplicate them(unless you have better images). Sound good? --ManiacallyChallenged 03:13, 15 January 2010 (UTC)

Not really that much of a need if there weren't so many different images of the same person with the same gun. Now I think Anna Torv looks great wielding firearms as much as the next guy, but you don't need anymore than 1 or 2 per combo. Just my 2 cents though. --Crazycrankle 04:10, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

Latest Episode

Did some screencaps of the latest episode, apparently the Five-seveN is used as a futuristic stand-in for what is referred to as the 'Model 76' and was canonically designed by William Bell. Bell also designed the 'Model 77' which is also an FN57 with a funky attachment on its rail. Anyone recognize the attachment? Something the prop department mocked up to look cool or something from the strange world of CAA catalogues? --Joffeloff 18:51, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

It appears to be some kind of compensator/integral wrap-around slide cover; the thing on the bottom seems to be a subcompact Reflex sight mounted upside down with the lens removed, with some kind of metal insert in place instead of the lens. Either that, or it's a custom prop molded directly onto the rail. It's probably the latter.

Or maybe I just can't read guns from the front. Eh.

Observer's Pistol

Hi i was wondering what was Alt-Olivia's back up gun. To me I think it is a dressed up Walther p99

or a Taurus Millennium Pro

It's an FN Herstal Five-seveN. It's hard to tell from the front (I had the same problem), but it is. You can tell because it looks huge in Torv's hands and because the Five-seveN is a typical stand-in for futuristic guns.

Although, I think a Steyr M9-A1 or an FN FNP45 would have made more sense. It's supposed to be like our world, but a little different, right? Well, the Steyr M9-A1 is from a company located in the same country as GLOCK, looks very similar, but handles totally different, has a different frame, and has triangular/trapezoidal sights (can you can any different from the GLOCK's square/blade stock sights?). The FN FNP45 also looks similar to other guns, but is unique. Both aren't very commonly used in films/TV shows, so if they did use either one, people would be thinking, "What IS that?"

You can see it clearly in the shot where "our" Olivia is firing; that is not a PX4 Storm Subcompact, it's a full-size service weapon. For scale, compare the screen-shot with that of the one of the GLOCK 17 full-size service weapon used by Olivia. The one fired by both Captain Lee and Alter-Olivia are also pretty much dead-on for scale. It can't be the full-size PX4 Storm either, because the handgun has a very distinct front-slide taper that is only really seen on the Five-seveN. Plus, the Five-seveN is apparently the "go-to" gun for futuristic weaponry (used in Chuck as well, among others). I still think that the Steyr M9-A1 would be a better choice within the context, though. The Five-seveN could have been Bell's gun only (which also makes sense). But meh.72.189.150.170

Ok, we're talking about her Back-up Gun not her service weapon, her service weapon is clearly and FN Five-seveN, however her BUG (seen only in her apartment) is definitely a Beretta Px4 Storm Subcompact.--Pølaris 21:13, 27 May 2010 (UTC)

We're missing some info about guns in season 5.
