The American title

I remember when Siskel and Ebert reviewed this movie the first time it hit the theaters. They both chimed in that it was "number One the most STUPID movie title anyone could have thought up". LOL. They opined that the film would have done a lot better if they had kept the original UK Title. Actually the film's original title WAS "ffolkes". The British distributors had a cow and demanded a title change, over the objections of the filmmakers and Roger Moore. To make Moore happy, the American release 'restored' the title of "ffolkes" but when it was a disastrous flop, the American distributors changed the name again to "Assault Force" when it was eventually shown on Network Television. :) mpm

Its title should be North Sea Hijack, it was released as this ever since its UK release. I think every DVD ive seen of it has gone this title.--The Mercenary 16:07, 29 May 2012 (CDT)
Despite the stupid title (one which was controversial when it was released), we should still stick to the rules. American release title takes precedence. This also proves that we don't just change the rules when it suits us. :) I too would prefer the original UK title, but that title was made over the objections of the filmmakers and Roger Moore. The original title of the film WAS 'ffolkes'. The British distributors just realized how dumb that name was and changed it. :D mpm

Wrong Gun?

In the first picture of the Colt Commander section it looks like Ackerman holds a regular Colt M1911A1, or a Spanish variant of a Colt, based on the lenght of the slide. Also in the second picture of same section it looks like he holds a Canadian Inglis Hi-Power and not a Colt Commander. Anybody agree with me on this? --Thejoker
