No you're right the movie is supposed to take place in 1975. Needless to say having Pacino use a Beretta 92F is a serious screwup. I saw an old Gary Cooper western once. Takes palce during the Seminole Indian War in Florida in the 1830's/1840's. Guess what. They have the characters using Colt 1873 Peacemakers.
