It must have more than one real firearm in it

The page must have enough firearms to merit inclusion into the database, thus the page must have more than ONE real firearm in it to qualify. There are some important exceptions to this rule:

1) the firearm is identifiable, well seen and important to the story. A film where 'some character' wields an 'unknown revolver' means nothing.

2) it has enough screen time for any viewer to wonder what make or model it is.

3) it must drive the plot forward and not be an 'incidental' prop (like something hanging on the wall in the background). (a) If it is in the background, it must be 'interesting enough' to merit someone asking the question 'what is that?' Thus if it has enough screen time and it is identifiable, it qualifies. If it is a random 'set dressing' or a 'shape' held by a extra, then it does not qualify.

4) the single firearm rule only applies if the firearm is real. If it is an obvious toy or airsoft gun, then it does not qualify. Having a lone character wave around an 'orange plug' airsoft toy does not merit a page. If the film is filled with various replica or high quality airsoft weapons than can fool the casual viewer, then it qualifies, if only to shine light upon the fact that the guns are fakes.

MGC 1911 / Defender

Two things:

1) The MGC 1911 and the Colt Government with the laser sight are the same replica gun, you can match the serial number from two pics. The number is 12581C70, and it's fitted with a Commander-style hammer and a shaved beavertail when it has the laser sight mounted on it.

2) Under the 1903 section, there are pictures of a pistol that is clearly either a blank-adapted or blank-firing replica of a Colt Defender. It's a defender based on the 1911-style layout, controls, and Defender-length barrel and frame.

The gun currently listed as a 1903. There are multiple shots of this gun showing the significantly larger bore, but this shot most clearly shows the shape, length, sights, and external ring hammer, differentiating it from the 1903. (Ep.11).

Those MGC guns are not the same gun. The serial number is the same on all of their guns, as there is no need to make them individual as they are not a real gun and it would cost a lot of money for no real reason. Secondly, the one with the laser sight appears to have a commander length slide, and this along with the ring hammer suggests that it is their Combat Commander model. --commando552 (talk) 16:17, 12 May 2016 (EDT)

My mistake on the MGC 1911, I didn't know their numbers were all the same. Thank you for the correction. As for the defender, I think it too is an MGC replica, very similar to this one seen here.--Caldwellb734 (talk) 16:21, 12 May 2016 (EDT)

Not so sure about the Defender being an MGC, the end of the recoil spring guide rod is wrong, the slide serrations cover less of the slide, and it has a ring rather than skeleton hammer. The same differences apply to a real Colt Defender though, so best guess is that it is a replica made by somebody else, or a different gun altogether --commando552 (talk) 16:40, 12 May 2016 (EDT)
