Sword Art Online II (July 5, 2014 - December 20, 2014)

A year has passed since the events of Sword Art Online (Season 1), and Kazuto Kirigaya (Username: "Kirito") is living peacefully back in the real world with Asuna Yuuki (Username: "Asuna"). However, he is recruited by Kikuoka Seijirou of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Virtual Division to investigate in a series of killings in the Virtual Reality MMORPG game Gun Gale Online. A player calling himself "Death Gun" is suspected of causing the deaths of two GGO players via shooting their avatars in the game, somehow coincidentally causing their real bodies to suffer an acute heart attack. Can Kazuto reveal the secret link that leads to death via the Virtual World, or will he himself become a victim of "Death Gun"?

The following weapons were used in the anime series Sword Art Online II:

Pistols

Norinco Type 54

A player named "Death Gun" uses a Norinco Type 54 "Black Star" as his sidearm, which he uses to supposedly murder players in Gun Gale Online. A Type 54 was also used by a bank robber who was disarmed and killed with it by Shino Asada (Username: "Sinon") five years before the main story.
