Designer: John M. Browning
Additional: The Stevens M620 was an improved version of the original Stevens M520 series. The firearm was available in 12-, 16- and 20-gauge and offered in 26, 28-, 30- and 32-inch barrel lengths. A "Trench Gun" version (20" barrel) of the M620 existed for wartime military procurement This variant utilized a perforated heat shield across the top of the barrel to protect the firer's hand and fitted a bayonet mounting under the muzzle.
