Starship Operators (2005)

Starship Operators is a thirteen episode television series from the anime studio J.C.Staff based on the science-fiction novel by Ryo Mizuno.

The following weapons were used in the anime series Starship Operators:

Walther PPK

Renna Satomi carries a pair of Walther PPK pistols in a pair of concealed thigh holsters. She hands one to Akiho Maya during the crew's escape from Shu.

SIG-Sauer P226

Sinon uses a SIG-Sauer P226 pistol during the crew's escape from Shu. Either due to a lack of research or as an act of artistic license, the pistol's decock lever is treated as a safety switch.

Futuristic Submachine Gun

Several government personnel, mostly security and police officers, are seen using a fictional bullpup submachine gun, most notably in episode 8 and 9. A variant capable of operating in a vacuum is seen in episode 10. A third long-barreled variant is seen in the hands of UN soldiers during the finale.
