The following weapons were used in the film The Southern Star:
Smith & Wesson Victory Model
Ludwig's men and also Dan Rockland (George Segal) own anachronistics Smith & Wesson Victory Model revolvers (like in many other films, standing for the original Military & Police).
Webley Mk VI
Many characters include Erica Kramer (Ursula Andress) and Plankett (Orson Welles) are seen with a bit anachronistic Webley Mk VI revolvers.
Matakit (Johnny Sekka) picked up and used during final shootout an unidentified revolver. It seems an anachronistic snub-nose revolver, such as Colt Detective Special.
Sawed-off Single Barreled Shotgun
Capt. Karl Ludwig (Ian Hendry) (2nd from left) carries in his holsters a pair of guns, what appears to be a Sawed-off Single Barreled Shotguns. These may be a factory-produced smoothbore hunting pistols, known as Howdah Pistols, but the guns in the film are more like sawed from ordinary shotguns.
Winchester 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine
Main characters are seen with Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbines.
Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III*
Plankett's Aboriginal men are armed with Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III* rifles. Capt. Karl Ludwig (Ian Hendry) seized this weapon.
