South Central (1992)


Smith and Wesson Model 28

When the Deuces, kill Genie Lamp (Kevin Best), Ray Ray (Byron Minns) is seen holding a Smith and Wesson Model 28 with a potato attached as a makeshift silencer, which he later gives to Bobby (Glenn Plummer) to finish off Lamp.


Ray Ray holds the Model 28 in his hand, as the Deuces prepare to attack Genie Lamp.
Ray Ray slides a potato on the end of the Model 28.
Bobby takes aim with the Model 28, now silenced.
The detective shows the hole in the potato made by the Model 28.

M-14 Rifle

One of the Deuces is seen using an M-14 Rifle with a potato on the barrel, during the attack on Genie Lamp

One of the deuces slides a potato on the M-14s barrel.
The Deuce member fires the M-14 at Genie Lamp and his bodyguard.
The gunman lies dead with his M-14 next to him.

Smith and Wesson Model 10

Remington Model 870 Field Gun

Willie Manchester (Ivory Ocean) pulls a Remington 870 Field Gun out of his closet and uses it to shoot Jimmie (Christian Coleman), after Jimmie breaks into his car to steal his radio.

With his Model 870 in hand, Willie runs for his front door.
Willie emerges from his house with the Model 870.
