Remington M40/M40A1 rifle

In the Vietnam flashback, a young Thomas Beckett is using a Remington M40 rifle. Beckett thinks of the rifle as "the best damn sniper rifle ever made".

The Barrett M82A1 is seen being used by a Marine sniper in the war simulation at the beginning of the film. Beckett then takes it from the sniper and makes an impossible shot with it.
