Unidentified

This article currently has one or more unidentified weapons.
If you can help identify any of the weapons labelled "unknown," please do so.

Smiling Friends - Season 1 (2022)

The following weapons were used in Season 1 of the television series Smiling Friends:

Pistols

Glock 17

DJ Spit carries a Glock 17 with him in Episode 7, "Frowning Friends".

Glock 17 - 9x19mm Parabellum
"GET OUT OF MY HEAD! GET OUT OF MY HEAD, MAN!"
Thinking that Pim and Charlie are hallucinations, DJ Spit takes out his Glock on the duo.
Charlie attempts to wrestle the pistol out of DJ Spit's hand, providing a top view of the slide.
Mr. Man turns into DJ Spit in a hallucination, threatening to shoot at Pim and Charlie again.

IMI Desert Eagle / Beretta 92FS Inox hybrid

Charlie fires a pistol that resembles the IMI Desert Eagle and the Beretta 92FS Inox at Mr. Frog's shooting range in Episode 2, "Mr. Frog".

Magnum Research Desert Eagle Mark XIX with brushed chrome finish - .50 AE
Beretta 92FS Inox - 9x19mm Parabellum
"...what's that...?
Charlie takes off his hearing protection after firing the pistol, providing a view of the grip and slide.

Walther P22

A Walther P22 is seen in the commercial for Desmond's Bliblie Control in Episode 1, "Desmond's Big Day Out".

Walther P22 - .22 LR
A hand aims a Walther P22 at a Bliblie in the commercial.

Revolvers

Smith & Wesson Model 500

Throughout Episode 1, "Desmond's Big Day Out", Desmond points a Smith & Wesson Model 500 to his head.

Smith & Wesson Model 500 (8.75" Barrel) - .500 S&W Magnum
Desmond with the Model 500 to his head.
"...but if you can't help me, I'M GONNA F**KING SHOOT MYSELF AND MAKE YOU TWO WATCH."
Desmond threatens Pim and Charlie with his suicide if they fail to make him happy. A more detailed view of the revolver is seen.
Desmond prepares to fire the revolver at a hostile Bliblie.

Rifles

Colt M16A2

An AR-15 variant best matching the Colt M16A2 is used by Mr. Frog at his private shooting range in Episode 2, "Mr. Frog".

Colt M16A2 - 5.56x45mm NATO
Pim watches as a drugged Mr. Frog fires an assault rifle at his shooting range. While the handguard is a bit wide of the mark, the rest of the identifying features (the birdcage flash hider, A2-pattern upper receiver, full-fence lower, and heavier-profile barrel) are all visible. Said barrel also seems to be completely in the white; this could be a stylistic choice, an indication of a non-standard part, or possibly just a result of Mr. Frog having fired enough rounds through it to cook the finish off.

Colt USAF M16

Mr. Boss plans on using a late-pattern Colt USAF M16 (or possibly the export Model 614; the two are equivalent in features) to kill the Frowning Friends in in Episode 7, "Frowning Friends".

Colt M16 (Model 614) - 5.56x45mm NATO
"Perhaps I should do what I should have done... from the start."
Mr. Boss eyes the M16 in a display shelf. Note the slickside upper and full-fence lower, denoting it as a late-pattern USAF M16.
The M16 being grabbed from the display.
A manic Mr. Boss eyes the Frowning Friends headquarters. The barrel of the rifle is fully visible.
The formerly nihilistic Grim begs for his life (and wets himself) as Mr. Boss threatens to kill him.

Tokarev SVT-40

Tokarev SVT-40 rifles are briefly seen in stock footage of the Soviet Red Army that the Frowning Friends play in Episode 7, "Frowning Friends". The same footage is also seen in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

Tokarev SVT-40 - 7.62x54mmR
The soldiers marching on the Frowning Friends' screen, attempting to make the observing crowd lose their hope presumably either through the reminder of the existence of Bolshevism or the fact that one of the world's most powerful militaries used to march soldiers pointing rifles at each others' backs.

Shotguns

Unknown shotgun

Mr. Frog fires an unknown shotgun at a shooting range in Episode 2, "Mr. Frog".

The shotgun being fired.

Launchers

RPG-7

Mr. Frog fires an RPG-7 at a shooting range in Episode 2, "Mr. Frog".

RPG-7 - 40mm
Mr. Frog readies the RPG-7 as Pim eyes his bag of drugs...
...and fires it as Pim snatches the bag.
