Revision as of 16:02, 21 June 2011
Singularity is a science-fiction first person shooter video game developed by Raven Software and published by Activision in 2010 for the PC, Xbox 360 & PS3. The game takes place in an alternate reality on a fictional Russian island called Katorga-12.
The following weapons appear in the video game Singularity:
Fabrique Nationale SCAR-H CQC
One First Generation SCAR-H CQC is used by Devlin in the game. He can be seen holding it during the flight towards Katorga-12. It is the one and only time the SCAR-H CQC can be seen in the game. Unfortunately, the helicopter crashes after the intro and Devlin looses his rifle. When the player makes contact with him again, he can be seen holding a "AR9 Valkyrie", a futuristic AK-type assault rifle.
AK-47
When Cpt. Renko travels back to 1955, the soviet guards are using AK-47s to defend themselves against the "strange man with futuristic weapons".
Short barreled AK variant
A short barreled AK-type rifle (could be an AKMSU or AKS-74U) can be seen in the ending cinematic of the game.
Makarov PM
Makarov PM pistols are used by several Russian guards in 1955, mostly in conjunction with a riot shield. When a soldier is killed, he will drop ammo for the "Centurion", a fictional revolver.
Unknown revolver
Demichev carries an unknown full-size revolver with him in the game.
Winchester Model 1897 "Trench Gun"
In the game, the Model 1897 "Trench Gun" can be seen in the hands of Russian soldiers in 1955. The soldiers are never seen pumping or reloading the shotgun.
General Dynamics M197 Vulcan
The M197 Vulcan can be seen mounted on several Russian helicopters.
Frag Grenade
An unknown fragmentation grenade is used by Russians in 1955.
