September Eleven 1683 (also known as The Day of the Siege: September Eleven 1683) is a 2012 Polish-Italian historical war drama, directed by Renzo Martinelli and based on the real historical events. This movie was filmed in English, the Polish title is Bitwa pod Wiedniem, the Italian is 11 Settembre 1683.
The following weapons were used in the film September Eleven 1683:
Flintlock Pistol
King John III Sobieski (Jerzy Skolimowski) and several Polish soldiers fires Flintlock Pistol at the film climax.
Wheellock Musket
Several Austrian soldiers were armed with the Wheellock Muskets.
Matchlock Musket
Varios Austrian and Holy Roman soldiers can be seen with the Matchlock Muskets.
Shishane Miquelet
Jezail musket is the standart firearm of Ottoman soldiers.
Unknown Long Guns
At the one moment, several Austrian soldiers carry an unknown long guns. It's seems more modern, that other firearms and may be Brown Bess, Charleville or other but it's hard to make clear ID.
Cannons
Austrian, Polish and Ottoman armies uses smoothbore muzzleload cannons.
