Scream 3
The following guns were used in the movie Scream 3
Smith & Wesson Model 36 "Chiefs Special"
Dewey uses this gun throughout the film, He takes several shots at the killer but the killer has a bullet proof vest on and the gun was also empty when Dewey had a perfect shot at the killer. Sidney too uses a S&W 36 too shoot the killer, but the kilers vest also protects him.
Smith & Wesson 4006
Detective Mark Kincaid's standard side arm throughout the film is the S&W 4006. He gives the gun Dewey and tells him to go and get the asshole (Killer) After Dewey shoots the killer several times in the torso he shoots him once in the head and finally kills him once and for all.
Walther PPK
Sidney takes a Walther PPK out of a drawer in the police station just before she heads for Miltons mansion. She is later forced by the killer to throw it in the pool at Miltons mansion. Sidney, however also brought a S&W 36.
