SA-14 Gremlin is the NATO reporting name of the 9K34 Strela-3, a Russian man portable surface to air missile. It is heavily based on the SA-7 Grail (9K32 Strela-2) to the point where it is nearly identical in appearance: the main feature that differentiates the two is that the SA-14 has a spherical battery coolant unit (BCU) at the front of the gripstock under the launch tube's muzzle, while the SA-7 has a cylindrical unit with a plunger-like structure extending from the front, which is just a thermal battery.
