Rush Hour 2 (2001)

The following firearms were used in the film Rush Hour 2:

Smith & Wesson 5906

Det. James Carter (Chris Tucker) carries a Smith & Wesson 5906 as his LAPD sidearm, seen when confronting Kenny (Don Cheadle).

Smith & Wesson 5906 - 9mm
Carter draws his S&W on Kenny.
Carter keeps his S&W trained on Kenny "gangster-style", not like a trained detective would in real life, but this seems intentional in that Carter is displaying his 'street cred' by walking and talking like a 'fellow gangsta'.

Beretta PM12S

One of the Triad thugs led by Hu Li carries a Beretta PM12S when Carter and Lee run outside of the office building.

Norinco Type 56-1

Many of the Triad gangsters led by Hu Li outside the office building have Norinco Type 56-1 assault rifles.

Walther PPK/S

Triad member Hu Li (Zhang Ziyi) carries a stainless Walther PPK/S. Inspector Lee (Jackie Chan) uses one to intimidate Ricky Tan (John Lone) during the finale.

Walther PPK Non-Gun

A Walther PPK "Non-Gun" is used when Lee fires the pistol near Ricky Tan's head.

This looks like a real PPK/S, not the non-gun verison. The Winchester 02:38, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
I agree, the trigger guard isn't quite the right shape. -MT2008
The shape of the trigger guard makes it look more like a Sig P230 to me
The ejection port makes it look more like the non-gun.
Might be a PSM

It is a Sig in this shot. Must be a continuity error.

Lee is distracted by Carter and fires the pistol when Ricky Tan grabs at him.

Para-Ordnance P-12

Undercover U.S. Secret Service agent Isabella Molina (Roselyn Sanchez) carries a Para-Ordnance P-12 when confronting Carter and Lee. Hu Li later gets a hold of it to wound Isabella but runs out of ammunition. Steven Reign (Alan King) flashes this pistol in his waistband to try and intimidate Ricky Tan.

Hu Li fires Isabella's Para-Ordnance P-12 at her.
Reign shows Ricky Tan the Para-Ordnance P-12 in his waistband.

That wasn't a Para-Ordnance P-12, it was a Walther PPK/S that Lee took out and then held on Ricky Tan.

Are you sure it's a P-12? The P-12 is a double-column magazine .45, meaning it has a very wide grip. Roselyn Sanchez is not a very large person yet in the first two images from the movie her hand is seen wrapping entirely around the grip, causing me to doubt that this weapon is actually the thick-gripped P-12.
