In "First NinPow! Volume: Hattari's Love is Unrequited", a cowboy ninja fighting Rentaro Kagura in a ninja contest has a revolver holstered. His appearance is possibly a reference to Rentaro's actor, Hideya Tawada, who was a cowboy ninja ranger in Shuriken Sentai Ninninger.
