A Quiet Place is a 2018 American post-apocalyptic horror survival thriller co-written, directed by and starring John Krasinski as Lee Abbott, who along with his pregnant wife Evelyn (Krasinski's real-life wife Emily Blunt), attempt to keep their family alive in a world where the Earth has been invaded by a race of powerful aliens who rely totally on their hearing to find their prey: the human race. When the story begins, most of the human race has already been decimated, and the Abbott family survive by living as quietly as possible.
