QW-2 - 72mm

The QW-2 (Chinese: 前卫-2, pinyin: qiánwèi-2; lit. "Vanguard 2"; some online sources also alleges that the QW-2 is exported under the literal "Vanguard 2" name) is a Chinese MANPADS, an improved version of the QW-1 Vanguard which was a Chinese derivative of the Russian SA-16 "Gimlet."

It was first displayed at the Farnborough Airshow in England in 1998, and is believed to have been adopted by the People's Liberation Army some time between that date and 2002.
