Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl is the 2003 adventure film inspired by the popular Disneyland ride of the same name. The film stars Johnny Depp in his now iconic role as pirate Captain Jack Sparrow. The film would spawn three more films: Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006) and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (2007), and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011).
