The expedition uses Winchester Model 1892 rifles, Ben McBride (Patrick Wayne) and Hogan (Shane Rimmer) in particular.

Winchester 1892 .38-40

McBride takes aim at a pair of ceratosaurs.

McBride ceases fire after realizing his Winchester isn't doing much.

Colt Model 1903

Photographer Charlotte Cunningham (Sarah Douglas) carries a pearl-handled Colt Model 1903 in her handbag which is given to Bowen Tyler (Doug McClure) in the climax. He uses it to shoot several Nagas (Caprona natives who have advanced to a technological level resembling feudal Japan).

A bearded, older Bowen uses the gun against the pesky katana-wielding Nagas.

Ben McBride (Patrick Wayne) using the gun against some cavemen.

Lewis Gun

Hogan (Shane Rimmer) uses a forward-mounted Lewis gun shoot at a marauding pterodactyl as the expedition flies into Caprona. It has elements of both aircraft-mounted and non-aircraft-mounted Lewises.
