One for the Money

One for the Money (2012)

One for the Money is a 2012 action-comedy based on the first in a series of novels by Janet Evanovich and starring Katherine Heigl as Evanovich's heroine Stephanie Plum, a newly-minted bail enforcement agent (bounty hunter) whose first quarry is an ex-cop whom she once had a relationship with.

Joe Morelli (Jason O'Mara) carries and fires a Glock 19, which is his service weapon. (It's not explained why he was allowed to keep it after being arrested for shooting an unarmed man, or how he was allowed bail in the first place.)

Stephanie Plum (Katherine Heigl) apparently carries the new Smith & Wesson Model 637 airweight revolver. It does have an exposed hammer so it cannot be the Model 642. Ranger (Daniel Sunjata) purchases it for her since she doesn't have a permit. Joe Morelli takes it away briefly and unloads it. Lonnie Dodd (Michael Laurence) takes it way and shoots Ranger with it before he's apprehended by Stephanie.

Stephanie Plum (Katherine Heigl) tests the trigger pull on her new gun, still awkward since it is her first firearm.

Stephanie Plum asks if she can have a Desert Eagle too. Considering that she is smaller and first time user, the compact 'Airweight' she has is a much better and practical choice for a concealed carry piece.

Gun Store Firearms

When Ranger and Stephanie go gun shopping, several firearms are displayed in the store.

On top you can see posters of S&W revolvers and one with a pistol and on the side a gun rack.

On the display rack, the first rack has a Beretta Cx4 Storm, an AK variant and (just guessing) a muzzle loader. The second rack has a Kel-Tec SU-16 and a pump-action, magazine fed shotgun. The third rack has a Smith & Wesson MP15-22 and Ruger Mini-14. The fourth rack has a AR variant and a unknown long gun.

You can see a unknown pistol slide, Beretta U22 Neos and a handle of a Ruger Mark III.
