Nineteen Eighty-Four

The firearms used in the 1984 film Nineteen Eighty Four were of World War II vintage in keeping with George Orwell's original novel by the film makers. Seen in the hands of a Eurasian soldier in the propaganda film at the beginning of 1984. The footage of the Eurasian soldier with the Mosin-Nagant was footage of a Red Army soldier using his Mosin-Nagant rifle on the Eastern Front during World War II.
